Raisin bread

This bakery shop definitely is quite huge in size.and many choices of bread and cake available here.  The service here is quite friendly and fast as well.  I have bought their raisin bread to try which is only at $1.80 per packet.  Bread is soft and moist and lots of juicy raisins can be found inside. Great to eat it on its own.

For so many years, this bakery at the Toa Payoh Hub is always so popular, even there is a number of other bakeries nearby. This outlet is always very crowded with queues. The staffs are forever busy refilling the display shelves. Most items are priced about $1.40. I have bought a mushroom chicken puff which costs $1.50 each. Service is quite fast at the counter. The puff pastry does not crispy enough for my liking. The filling inside is quite tasty.

It really saves on money (approx $2 a cup) and it's fruit juice that you can hear them blending behind. They usually have soursop or lime juice and those are my go to choices. I used to frequent the bubble tea shops around the corner, but upon discovering this gem, this is my go to place to get a drink after a meal at toa payoh hub


The lady is also quite patient in waiting for you to choose your drink and I saw once that she helped poke the straw in a customer's cup after the customer's request without giving any weird or dirty looks.

Really impressed with the wide range of pastries, cakes and biscuits available in this bakery shop. This shop is quite neat and clean and really like the bright and colourful layout here. I have bought their blueberry waffle, which is at $1.40 each. The waffle is quite soft and moist, which fill with the pandan flavour during every bites of it. THe blueberry jam is sweet and goes well with the waffle. Service was alright too.

I went to Toa Pa Yoh last sunday and dropped by Cake History at interchange to try fruity juice.I was really thirsty as weather is too hot.I ordered strawberry and banna mixed juice with milk that costs $2.5.Normal cup without milk is $1.80.I sit nearby the shop and rest a while.It was really very satisfied and make me fresh.Taste's not too sweet, smooth and really milky as well. As usual, I was buying bread for my breakfast. It took a while for me to figure out that the flower-shaped bread was baked together with Hot-dog.Pretty in appearance, like a flower. The hot dog was cut into small pieces then mixed together with bread. The bun was soft and slightly sweet. Although I bought breads at Cake History always, but this is my first time to try it. Without any disappointment, the bread was delicious. It costed $1.40 per piece.

 The bread was freshly baked obviously, it looked yummy. I bought Sweet Potato Bread, creamy filling inside and the skin of bread was soft. Personally, I like the sesame on the top of the bread.

The price was ranged from $1.20nett. It considered reasonable for a delicious bread. So what are you waiting for? Grab a bread for yourself as well.

I bought a 1kg Chocolate Mint cake for $25 the other day.
The appearance and decoration of the cake attracted me because the design was elegant and pretty.
When I looked at the name of the cake, I was even happier because it stated there 'Chocolate Mint Cake'!
I am a big fan of chocolate!! And I really love the taste when chocolate is combined with mint!!
When I had a bite on the cake, I tasted the sweet taste of the chocolate, and feel refreshed by the smell and taste of the mint!!

The price tags of Breads, Cakes, Muffins, Tarts, Biscuits and Sanwiches are arranged in order. The breads are freshly made daily. The price range of course affordable, from $0.80 each (such as Plain Dougnut) to $3.20 each (such as Tuna Delight).

 It costed me $2.30 per piece. The cake was soft and flavour of mango was so strong and aromatic. Perhaps I am the lover for mango, taste wise; it was perfect enough for me. I must say, I really loved the cake, although it was just an ordinary mango cake.

Cake History is now selling the seasonal cakes such as Birthday Cake and Christmas Cake. You may order first before the day of celebration. There is a booklet for you to choose which designs or flavours you desire to have.

Besides, fruits juices and waffles are sold at counter. If you happen to pass by, you may try the Butter Chocolate Waffle. It was the best seller there. The staffs there are ready to serve you.

this is another one of their heart shaped bread. they seem to change the flavour for the heart shaped bread on a weekly basis. this time it is green and also had no description or price so we just bought it as it looked cute. cost about $3. did not know what the filling really was, but it was a green paste - sort of like lotus pandan paste. and the other half of it was some bean paste. interesting concoction.

this bread is interesting. it is heart shaped. we bought it without knowing what was in it as there was no price and no signage or description. in the end it costs about $2.50. interesting filling. still not 100% sure what it is. mostly there is black sesame and some sweet paste. it is very pretty to look at. the bread itself is a bit dry and dense. took some chewing to get through. very filling as it is quite big.
