Today the bakery has organized a market event at shopping centre. It sells a various of items ranging from organic vegetables to organic nuts to cakes to gourmet sandwiches. The pound cakes are available in various flavour and cost $12 each or $22 for 2 pieces.Pandan Butter Pound CakeThe cake is quite moist and fragrant with Pandan taste.Yuzu Cranberry Pound CakeThe cake is topped with a layer of icing. Quite moist with a hint of yuzu taste. There is gourmet sandwiches which are available at $8 each.Beetroot patty with whole meal beetroot breadFirst time having this. It tastes slightly sweet with a curry dressing in it.Mushroom thinThe wrap is filled melted cheese and mushrooms. Very nice. For soups, there 2 choices at $8 each.Pumpkin chicken soupThe soup is quite rich and creamy with chunky meat in it.Wild mushroom soupCompare to the other soup, it is more watery. It is more peppery too. There is also sliced cakes such as carrot cake and Pandan cake for sale at $12 for 2 pieces.Overall the food is quite yummy. The only thing which I have a bit of problem with is that one have to purchase vouchers in order to buy the items in the event. And the vouchers are sold in batch of $10 each. Not easy to fully utilize the vouchers. If one still have vouchers, can use them in the bakery's outlets till end of the year.  continue reading

No stranger to Cedele, I decided to bring The Beau to eat here since we were at The Star Vista for the Air Supply concert. I always feel happy when I am at Cedele - probably because they have a pretty good menu, and their food is supposed to be "healthy" and "organic".He decided to have the Prawn and Chix Pasta (SGD$19.50) as his mains. Springy, spicy strands of pasta tossed with some edamame beans for an extra crunch or two, well I told him that I could've eaten the pasta on its own that way. The chicken was tender and smooth in texture, with a great taste. The prawns were rather fresh with bouncy texture, so the entire pasta dish was gobbled up pretty fast.I decided to go for the Blueberry Pancakes with Bacon (SGD$12.50) - one could have the choice of bacon, sausage or mushrooms. They made my bacon crispy for me specially - the original bacon would be the cooked (ham-like) type. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and cottony-soft in texture, and best of all not too sweet despite the rich infusion of blueberries. Paired with the crispy bacon and maple syrup, this was a very enjoyable all-day breakfast mealFor drinks, The Beau settled for a Mango Lassi (SGD$6.70), luscious blend of mango and yogurt, giving it a frothy creaminess resplendent of mango flavor. While this was smooth and delicious enough, we felt it still could not beat the thicker, more traditional Mango Lassis served at Indian restaurants. For full review and more detailed information, please feel free to visit:http://thearcticstar.blogspot.sg/2015/03/dinner-at-cedele-star-vista-revisit.html continue reading
