Have always heard of the good reviews of this korean chicken restaurant at tanjong pagar (right beisde 2day1night) and decided to give it a try. I went with a friend we have ordered spicy up chicken (4pcs), a jar of yakult soju and truffle fries. this add up to a total of $55 which i find it rather expensive. The spicy up flavored chicken wings were quite average. taste like KFC chicken. we wanted to try the other flavors however we dont think we could finish it as there are only 2 ...

Recommended by a classmate, a group of 11 of us decided to give “Chicken Up” a try. Having heard for the first time, I thought nothing of it other than that of eating at “KFC”. Boy was I proven wrong‼! I was amazed by its trendy interior, great atmosphere, warm welcome and excellent service which instantly made me feel at ease. In addition, not knowing what to order, the friendly staff offered to assist by recommending /introducing their sumptuous specialty Soya Chicken ...

It's 2AM after a night of shamefully bowling a 93 and what am I thinking about? Korean fried chicken. I'm screaming at the top of my lungs for the Wolverines to stop my heart palpitations and to finally kick the Hoosiers in their place and what am I thinking about? Korean fried chicken. I have a one track mind and lately, my brain is laser-focused on Chicken Up. I crave it. I want it. I need it. Crispy, crunchy skin artfully coated in a thin layer of soy or spicy sauce....

What can be as good(sinful) as Chicken Up when they offer not only Beer buffet but also chicken buffet! Chicken Up is a Korean restaurant/ bar located around tanjong pagar area. Brought to you by Koreans bringing you authentic Korean feast. Went there with a Korean friend of mine, as she said that the boss was friendly and she feels at home whenever she patronize the place. And i was surprise by the ratio of Koreans to Singaporeans in the restaurant, there was obvious...

Taste: One of the best fried chicken I have tasted. Even the normal fried chicken (without and sauces) is very crispy and fresh. Environment: The restaurant is slightly cramped, with small amount of leg space at the tables. Service: Most of the staff are locals (Y) Service is good and efficient. Clean: No problems here. Price: The price can be quite expensive for an alacarte meal. Buffet is a lot more worth it if you can eat a lot of chicken.

Who doesn't love a good fried chicken? Ever since my first taste of Korean fried chicken at Mad for Chicken in NYC (they go by a diff name Tt escapes my pre-caffeinated brain now), I've been longing for those robust and exhilarating flavors again. The search ends at Chicken Up. Exceptionally tender and juicy chicken with a light and superbly crispy batter. BonChon can screw its double fried a** staleness that it claims to be authentic. Yes I'm still darn pis...

The fried chicken here was fabulous! It was not as oily as elsewhere but was very juicy. We tried the Spicy Up on one occasion and the Andong and Suicide Chicken on another. The Suicide Chicken was just hot enough for our taste and the chicken in the Andong was stewed till it had absorbed all of the soup's flavour. Our only regret is that we didn't manage to try the suicide beer, which we understood to be a Korean tradition.
