economic rice
Just OK 2012-12-20

koufu economic rice is one of the stall that i seldom order, maybe due to less interest in economic rice. Anyway the choice of dishes is not wide enough, and the dish presentation doesnt make me interested to order. the dish i order is also not very nice, the spinach is tasteless, and the fish has some fishy smell.. the pork is okay, nicely braised, and the gravy make the rice moer tasty.

Lunch at Koufu
Just OK 2012-11-02

Having lunch at Koufu with my friends. Felt hungry and felt like eating rice thus I choose to go for Chinese Cuisine at Koufu as the queue was not long.

As you can see in the picture above, I had ordered the potatoes, long beans and fried chicken meat. The portion was quite small. I remember that after I finish the rice, I went to buy waffle hotdog as I was very hungry that time.

The price for the rice was 2.7 if I am not remembering wrongly. The price is not reasonable as the portion was too small. And the potatoes, long beans and fried chicken meat tasted normal only. Nothing special that can impress me.

Mixed rice
Just OK 2012-10-13

There is the potatoes, long beans and fried fish. It tastes normal...could not say it is nice or not nice, just kind of plain, not very impressive cooking techniques. The sweet and sour taste sauce is just not enough to cover the fried fish, making it taste dry...the potatoes and long beans are normal. The only thing I like this stall is that its food are not too salty and oily.

Chinese Cuisine - Koufu
Just OK 2012-07-17 (Related Review)

I ordered fried chicken, sausages and vegetables for lunch. Although they always have a long queue during lunch time, the service is somehow quite fast. Well, the price is also affordable too. It just tastes like normal homecooked dishes, so for those ppl who is craving for homecooked dish, you can probably try this out. The only disadvantage about this stall is the servings are not consistent at all. I bought this a few times, and yet the amount of rice they gave to me are always different. sad

Chinese Cuisine - Koufu
Just OK 2012-07-03
Chinese Cuisine - Koufu sells economic fried bee hoon, mee and kuey teow in the morning as breakfast, and they sells economic rice vegetable in the afternoon till dinner time. the fried kuey teow and mee is not nice, the noodles are very oily, and it's a bit bland, so I am like just eating for the sake of eating, and eventually I couldn't finish this medium plate of noodle.

Chinese Mixed Vegetables Rice

Zha Chai Fan ! mad

I like the rice in Koufu NYP, it is soft and feel like those japanese rice when serve it hot.

but I will suggest you eat before 5pm. shocked

This is because when I eat at 5pm, the meat very hard and i feel its really not nice, bite until my teeth also tired.sadsad

But luckily the vegetables still crunchy, feel very syok when bite it.lol

For one meat and one vegetables, it only cost for $2, but if u add one more vegi, it is $2.50 , slightly pricey then outside. lollol

chinese food!

Delicious mixed rice ($3.5)

The herbal chicken is tender but less flavourful. The curry vege is very nice!

economic fried bihun with fried egg ($1.2)

The bihun is nicely fried, not hard nor soggy. The egg is a bit salty but very fragrant.

economic fried rice with fried veggies and onion egg ($2)

The fried rice is normal but the onion egg is salty though fragrant. Just normal rice which can be self made. Cheap though.
