Churros is quite hard to be found in Singapore so i am really happy with this find of mine. The churos are a little too sweet but i chose honey so it is quite expected, I like the flavours of the frappe available (Red Velvet, Marshmallow, Snickers, Tiramisu) the Frappe isn't too sweet which suits my taste. Price is slightly expensive but worth it since Churros are hard to find in Singapore already. continue reading

There is a grim beauty in wandering during the monsoon season, with the pitter pattering of rain on the feet and the excellent excuse of some hot piping churros to go along. Why not, when it's such a perfect indulgence. A little walk around Holland Village makes for a liberating, destressing afternoon and then this caught my eye: Churrosity.Ten minutes later, a cup of $3.20 for a regular, personal serving of churros here resting on my hand. There are options of a generous drizzling of chocolate, honey, strawberry or dulce de leche. There is little surprise here as I chose chocolate. Finely crispy, piping hot and coated with coarse sugar and buttery goodness, churros are indeed gifts from the heaven. Good on its own and better with chocolate, a fine treat for tea break. Verdict on Churrosity or Spanish Doughnuts? Spanish Doughnuts does it more sophistication and better, but Churrosity is pretty good as well. continue reading

Visit http://www.umakemehungry.com/2014/07/churrosity.html for more reviewsCuriosity over Churrosity! I had came across this stall while I was strolling down the streets in Holland Village after my dinner. Having tried Churros in Europe few years back, I had never come across any stall in Singapore selling these bites and since I chanced by this stall, I thought it will be good to give me a 'de ja vu'.The original / regular Churros comes in a lengthy size but one can opt the mini churros which are served in cups form. Besides having the regular churros coated in cinammon and sugar, we get a free topping of our choice for ordering those mini versions. It comes with 2 sizes, Regular or Large cup at $3.20 and $4.90 respectively.Toppings include Chocolate, Honey, Strawberry and dulce de leche (caramel).Churros was prepared and taken out from the deep fryer and there were rolled onto the tray with sugar and cinnamon powder. Afterwhich, it was then placed into the cup piece by piece, added with the topping of our choice.I would say it is a English Version of "You Tiao" aka Fried fritters that was much more sweeter. I like its uniqueness in taste and that it is out of the hot oil. Simply a best choice to for a munch while walking around Holland village. continue reading

It's not hard to find this churros stall as you will spot it right away near Holland Village MRT exit B. Note that Churrosity is strictly for takeaway, there is no seat available.Mini Churros Cup (regular size) with Chocolate Sauce - $3.20. I ordered mini churros in a cup because it was more convenient to eat in bite size. It comes with a choice of sauce (they offer chocolate, honey, strawberry, and dulce de leche) and I chose chocolate. The churros is coated with cinnamon power and sugar. It was not really warm when it was served, but still crispy outside and fluffy enough to chew. The chocolate sauce was just alright, nice pairing with my churros. Price is reasonable as well. continue reading

For the full review and more photos, please visit http://makanarts.com/2013/12/01/churrosity-241-holland-road/Churrosity has been opened for quite some time in Holland Village, being the only take-away booth in the region to offer churros. I finally had the chance to have it while walking down Holland Village. The regular Churros Bites ($3.20), added with chocolate sauce was great. It was well-coated with sugar and cinnamon and accompanied with the chocolate sauce it tasted divine. However, it was slightly less crispy, less hollow and harder to bite off. This will not deter people from having it as the taste is still very similar. If you are craving for churros and is around Holland Village, this is the place to come to (it's affordable and it's a take away counter!) continue reading
