I love ice creams but I've got to admit I'm rather scared of those that are overwhelmingly sweet. Those that I usually enjoy are creamy yet light (like Hokkaido ice creams).

I have to give it to Cold Stone for serving awesome premium ice creams.

I love their ice creams with no doubt. I'm extremely happy and my satisfaction curve reaches its peak at half a scoop of this premium ice cream, but beyond that, the satisfaction curve starts to fall again and makes me "jelat", desperate for plain water due to the sweetness building up. What I do is I usually share my ice cream with a friend, which is good for us because most of my friends don't have a sweet tooth.Mint with chocolate chips

I love this flavour, and I'd usually top it with chocolate chips which give it a shiok chocolatey crunch. Somehow many people I know do not like mint, saying it tastes like toothpaste. Cold Stone's quality premium ice creams are rather thick, creamy, milky and sweet, so it's worth giving this mint flavour a chance to prove that for once, this flavour isn't all about just eating toothpaste!The other flavour is Banana Caramel Crunch, which is nice too.

I can safely say most of their flavours are good, but the key for me is never to over-indulge.

Tried Cheesecake Fantasy as it is one of their signature creations, and I didn’t have to think of what combination of toppings to mix. The staff threw the ice cream into the air when mixing, and it was quite entertaining; but he failed on one occasion and some ice cream landed on my friend. Nevertheless, as a kind gesture he offered a free waffle :]

Portion was not huge for the price, considering that there are so many ice cream joints around nowadays. Quite pricey, I would say, but we went to chill out as a group and it’s a good place to hang out around Orchard.

Always a joy to come to Cold Stone Creamery, not only because of it's great ice-cream, but also the show they put up. Sometimes they will flip the ice-cream into the air, but most times they don't! Depends on your luck when you're there and if the more "expert" crew are there at the moment! There are a lot of flavours to choose from and you can even customize your own from their huge selection of flavours, and add a waffle to it!

Service staff there are quite nice although the cashier side was kind of slow, thus holding up the line. Most people take a long time to decide what they want too so it also adds to the long queue, but it's worth the wait! The waitresses/waiters do not chase you out if the place even if you're making a lot of noise because it adds to the atmosphere and even if you're a big group of people and only ordered 3-4 cups to share. Lost of seats there but mostly always filled!

I think you can also ask to try to flip your ice-cream into the air (probably if you ordered it) because I saw a guy not in uniform trying to flip it (and failed) and his large group of friends all laughing at him! Could be a fun experience there!

Everytime anyone walks pass this cafe... the strong rich smell of their waffles tempts you to make a stop and get you q-ing for their ice cream! That is what happened to me!

Cold stone really have a looooong list of ice creams to choose from. I forgot what mine was but it consist of caramel, walnut and brownies and yes coffee! In the beginning you would thought.. hmmm the regular size wont be enough but honestly.. i cant finish at least 3/4 of it. The waffles was sweet and cripsy.. love the smell!

we don't really like coldstone but as we having dinner somewhere around there & there's only coldstone cake so we ordered it ,
We had the strawberry one,inside it tasted like red velvet cake,with frozen strawberries inside
the taste was a bit sour but also sweet,as it is ice cream cake,so it's quite quite creamy,after few bites will get sick of it,price is consider a bit expensive as is not very big size,don't think will order again

but sad to say i ordered the wrong flavour ice cream Pistachio i was damn regret ordering this flavour try a few scoop and left it all there.
while my friend ordered bubble gum flavour damn nice can ! worthy for her !

next time please ask for a try to taste the ice cream before ordering !

Tried their oreo overload ice cream in a waffle cup! Huge portion of ice Cream with tons of chocolate chips and chunks of Oreo cookies topped with a generous portion of fudge sauce all mixed together on the cold stone top. The ice cream was smooth and creamy with contrasting textures from the Oreos and chocolate chips! Waffle cup was freshly made and complemented the ice cream well.

Tried the cookie and cream ice cream cake at cold stone. It was not bad but it is really just vanilla ice cream in between slices of chocolate sponge cake. Although the iverall taste was quite nice, it could have added more orea inside the ice cream so that the crunch of the orea would add more "excitement" to the tastebuds. I felt that the sponge cake layer was a little too much and felt that one layer of sponge cake was just sufficient.

Conveniently located in the heart of town, Cold Stone Creamery never never fails to have a long queue outside their parlor, especially on a hot sunny day.

Craving for some good quality ice cream that day, I dragged my boyfriend over with me because we are just near Orchard. Not surprised on a sunday, there was indeed a long queue outside Cold Stone and I think the waiting time was roughly 15mins.

15 minutes for a cup of ice-cream? You might be wondering why waste the time.

But that's cos they promise you ice-cream with fresh ingredients included only upon your demand. The menu they have on the wall. These are the signature creations which saves you the trouble for thinking what ingredients to mix with what ice cream flavour. What they did was to put the ball of ice cream onto a cold metal penal, throw in the necessary ingredients to create the ice-cream creations and started mixing them.

So they toss and turn and mix the ice-cream right in front of you! I ordered the Strawberry Banana Rendezvous!
What is in it: Strawberry Ice-cream, Graham Cracker Pie Crust, White chocolate chips, Strawberries and Banana

Looks a little melted here! But I guess it's because the metal panel isn't entirely zero degrees, so you can't expect the ice cream to not melt at all

But the ice cream was good! The strawberry they used that day was a little sour though. But the strawberry ice cream taste just as right. There was an abundant amount of white chocolate chips in it too! Which explains why the price of this ice-cream is a little expensive, but it's worth the penny! My boyfriend had the Chocolate Devotion Ice cream.
What is in it: Chocolate ice-cream, chocolate chips, brownie and fudge

Even a chocolate lover like him claims that this ice-cream was very very chocolate-y. With all the brownies and fudge within the chocolate flavoured ice-cream, you can't escape the extreme sweetness! If you don't have a sweet tooth, probably go for something minty, like the mint mint chocolate chocolate chip!

About the ice cream parlor: There were quite a plenty amount of seats inside Cold Stone creamery. Some were cozy little sofas, which some are wooden chairs along the wall and outside the parlor, inside Central building inside. Even on a busy day, I could still find myself vacant seats around. So probably not a problem!

Ambience: Cold Stone Creamery plays radio music in the background as well, so I guess this is a good place for you to grab a cup of ice-cream for cooling, and rest your tired feet after walking around the town. Eat the ice-cream, and continue shopping after that. Hahaha! As you can see, there was a long queue outside! Before I got my ice cream, I had to queue ALL THE WAY out of the ice cream parlor. That is how long the queue is you know! But usually if you have a friend or two with you, you probably can had a chat while queuing, and end your day with an ice cream that completes your shopping haul.

Oppsy! I forgot to take photo of the ice cream I had!

But what I has was mint mint chocolate chocolate chips. There was plenty of oreo cookies in it, generous amount of chocolate chips in the minty flavoured ice cream! The smallest size was $5.50. Slightly overpriced it is, but the quality of the ice cream has been by far the best I've tried because they are very smooth and creamy. Love it!

The place is always crowded, and the queue is always long. It might be hard to find seats there! But all for the good ice cream man.

The recently established cold stone creamery has been a delight to both locals and tourists island wide. Having said that, they also have 2 other outlets located in the city area (Far East Square & Citylink Mall) and has grown to be one of my favorite places to get ice cream. The staff at these outlets are definitely a young bunch of talents that would catch your attention as they often toss ice cream around into cups and in the air as part of their acts. It takes a lot of skill and practice to get it right which I truly admire.

These outlets are often swamped with people especially on the weekends. There are loads of flavors to choose from and something for everyone! The ice cream comes in pure flavors as well as the outlet's signature creations. Customers also have the option of adding their own toppings which really does make it their own creation. This time round, I tried the cheese cake fantasy. Yes, you heard me. Soft, Creamy-licious Cheesecake Ice Cream enticed with Graham Cracker Pie Crust, Blueberries & Strawberries. My boyfriend, who was pretty spectacle about my choice, really enjoyed it in the end too. I do admit that I do get sick of chocolate once in awhile and thus this cheesecake scandal. I do recommend the yummy crispy waffle as well that's usually put at the base of your cup

Recommended to all cheesecake lovers & great for sharing! The ice cream comes in 3 sizes I reckon. We went for the medium or also known as "Love It". It was a perfect delight to enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Do try out their cakes (sold only as a whole I'm afraid), smoothies & shakes! They are really good too, I swear by it ;)

Don't hold that cup for too long though! The ice cream does melt pretty fast (especially with no waffle!)

My friend and I headed over to Cold Stone Creamery for dessert because it was one of the few places that was still opened after having dinner at Antoinette. Each of us ordered a scoop of ice cream (4oz) with a dipped waffle. I had the chocolate devotion flavour with a dipped cone.Like
The brownie bits in chocolate devotion. Nothing makes me happier than brownie bits in chocolate ice cream! They were generous with the brownie bits.

Dislikes
-Not enough seats even on a weekday night. My friend and I had to stand around and wait for seats.
-The chocolate dipped waffle paired with a dipped waffle was too much for me, both my friend and I got sick of it after awhile. And had mild sore throats. I'll be getting a plain waffle with a chocolate flavour next time!

Spending: $7 for a 4oz scoop with a dipped cone

This was taken before fasting, i and hubby was walking down the street of orchard central and saw Cold Stone Creamery shop that specializes in “mix in ice cream”, where they mix various ingredients into ice cream, on a cold stable top (so it doesn’t melt) and serve it to you in a cup, preferably lined with crispy waffle. At Cold Stone, they are also known for their acrobatic skills when preparing the ice cream creation and with the waffle this cosy $6.50 each! The waffle cost $1. There’s also the option for chocolate dipped waffle, for $1.50.

Always heard from my friends how delicious these ice cream from Cold Stone and never have any chance to check it out. Finall happen to pass by Orchard Central on one of the evening and decided to join the queue to check out the taste of their ice cream. Was really impressed when a big cup of waffle ice cream was presented to me. The waffle biscuit is very fragrant and crunchy. The chocolate ice cream is very thick in flavour and is really creamy. The combination of both items taste great!

If you love peanut butter, try their rich peanut butter ice cream!
If you love waffless, add their crispy waffle to your ice cream!

This branch's cold stone, has a cheerful ambiance as the people sing and toss ice cream!
