i know there are people who likes "crispy" waffles, so if you are the kind who's into the "soft & fluffy" version, The Daily Scoop does it BEST.i love the green tinted waffles you can get from neighbourhood bakeries (especially the ones from Bread Garden at Bukit Batok — great for a quick waffle/snack/tea time/breakfast fix; SO soft and chewy) and haven't been able to come across any that could rival that, UNTIL The Daily Scoop. the waffles here are lighter and fluffier... so crazy good! i like

i like light ice cream flavours and have only tried the minty mint and strawberry shortcake flavours here. i really liked minty mint. ballsy mint was my go-to every time at Udders and it was a far cry from what i had here at TDS. i'm definitely going to come back for minty mint forever after. the strawberry shortcake tasted sourish(like yogurt) and had real cake bits inside. it's really not bad.

the cafe itself is very simply decorated and understated, and is located in a very secluded area, which is a real pity. even with the place crowded sometimes, the cafe always feels serene.. perfect for hot afternoons with your boyfriend!
