Pepper based bak kut teh
2011-08-11If you want to have the full selection of their Bak Kut Teh, please come before 12:30pm because many of their spareribs variety will be sold out by 1:30pm (happened 3 times to me during weekends).
As many of you know that they are usually two different styles of bak kut teh being "潮洲" or "馬拉". They are just different, but personally I prefer the "馬拉" style better because they usually put more Chinese herbs instead of white pepper.
If you happened to visit Ng Ah Sio, you may consider to order one bowl of bak kut teh to share with 2 persons depending on how much you like it because all the soup can be refilled for FREE. Therefore, please make use of it.
