The environment of the place may seem a little less impressive than the other Thai restaurants on the block, but let that not cause you to miss a good dining experience. I've been there twice and had their Pad Thai both times and enjoyed it immensely. I had chicken the first, and beef the second time. Both at the same price. There is another option of having seafood as well. Each plate will cost you about $5. I can be quite a stingy person and prefer to spend around $2-3 for a meal, but I have absolutely no problem spending $5 at Aroy Dee Thai. For $5 you get a huge plate of Pad Thai with generous amounts of beansprouts and meat. Aside from the portion, the taste is excellent.
The sour of the lime goes so well with the sweetness of the noodles producing a great balance of flavours for your tastebuds to soak in. The texture also varies from the crunch of the grounded peanuts, the softness of the noodles, and back to a fresh crunch of beansprouts.
I always enjoy my time there. Service is fine- you might have to wait a little, but for good food like this, I really don't mind the wait.
I definitely recommend this place for Thai Cuisine fans!
