Nalan is an indian vegetarian restaurant located at City Hall, right outside Funan Digital life mall. My first experience at Nalan was a take-away this stormy afternoon. The ambiance was simple yet it had a homely touch to it. Staff was also friendly and attentive. Prices were not too much on the steep side either considering the idea that it was located in the city. I ordered the Biryani set which came with two poori's (which is another version of the popular prata; except it is deep fried). There were two vegetable dishes that came along with it as well as pickles & raita (which is an indian salad). It was satisfying as well as filling. It also came with a dessert (gulub jamun) which end ed the meal sweetly
The only downside was that the meal was rather oily but other then that, it was scrumptious
