I was a bit hesitant when my friend suggested going to this buffet restaurant as I had read bad reviews about them. As my friend had already bought some groupon vouchers and made reservation with the hotel restaurant, we just went ahead anyway.

We were greeted by a hospitable filipino lady, there was always smile on her face.

My friend had requested seats along the glass panel and we were lead to our requested seats by another lady restaurant staff.

The lady said:" Enjoy your meal." with a smile before she went back to the front counter.

Ice water was served the moment we sat down.

As usual, I would attack the salmon sashimi first. There were salmon belly which I love.
The salmon tasted fresh and sweet, yummy!

There were indian food, western food, teppanyaki, just to name a few cooking station.

For the Indian food, I had naan with mutton curry. The naan is warm with a bit crispy outer layer , I had this with the mutton curry. I would say the mutton curry was carefully prepared,so...tasty!

For the western food, I had a slice of roast beef. The roast beef was tender, my friend who is a food critic commented that they used tenderloin for the roast. There were mustard and other sauces to go with the beef too.

There were squid, fish slices and beansprouts fried with dou miao (豆苗)at the teppanyaki section, the beansprouts fried with dou miao were so popular that many diners were queuing up for them.

I particularly loved the salmon quiche, it was slighly bigger than the size of a one dollar coin. I enjoyed this so much that i forgot to take the picture!

My stomach was already full tank after eating all that, but I still find space to squeeze in somemore desserts with a cup of coffee. I liked the. passion fruit mousse served in a small glass, full of passion fruit scent and tasted sour-sweet. The cream caramel was good too.

The ice water was refilled without us asking and the plates were cleared away quickly.

As yesterday was mother's day, each of us was given an ang ku kueh as a gift before we left the restaurant.

Although this restaurant does not serve oysters or cold crab legs for weekday lunch, I find that the food was of high quality, well worth every cent that we paid for.
