I've always been a fan of steamboat but I have never ventured out of the usual chicken, tom yam and mala soup base until my friend introduced me to satay soup base for steamboat at Tianfu. To my surprise, I didn't feel "overdosed" with satay sauce at all. It made everything that was cooked in the soup taste saltier but yet, manage to keep the original taste of the ingredients. They serve ala carte items and buffet as well. For buffet, it cost about $20 per pax but the selection was rather limite

They serve ala carte items and buffet as well. For buffet, it cost about $20 per pax but the selection was rather limited. Many items such as luncheon meat, stuffed meat balls etc were not found in buffet menu. You have to order separately. It is recommended you make reservation before you go as it is usually packed during dinners.
