I simply love the feeling of the white jelly ball bursting in my mouth when I eat it. Shiok! I don't really like the green tea glutinuous balls as I felt that the flour was too thick and the green tea flavored glutinuous balls tasted a little bitter. I love the slices of mango. Very fresh! However I think that the Original Milk Snowy Ice dessert is a little bland to my liking, despite the pink colour syrup that was spread throughout the snowy ice. I still prefer the durian or other flavors versions.

I simply love my Durian with Pomelo Sago (Cold), that cost $6.50.

My Durian with Pomelo Sago was simply heavenly. It consist of a ball of durian ice-cream, pomelo and sago. The best part is that the entire bowl was filled with pure durian pulp. It was the delicious durian pulp that makes this dessert heavenly. The durian ice-cream tasted average to me. The pomelo and sago, when mixed well with the durian pulp is nice. It was definitely well worth the money. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 0 as mediocre and 10 as very yummy, I would rate this dessert as 7.

The restaurant did not have much decoration to provide to the ambience, except the antique looking table and chairs. The service provided by their staff is mediocre as they did not bother to explain to us how to order the dessert. As we had eaten before at Ji De Chi, we know that we have to write our order on the paper before passing to the counter and making payment at the same time. But I think if we are new to Ji De Chi, we would definitely not know what to do. Unlike the Jurong Point outlet where the Jurong Point outlet staff bothers to explain to every group that eats at there, over at here, apparently their staff don't bother and I think this can be further improved.

As for the dessert price, I think it's reasonably priced as most of the desserts are priced at around $5 to $7, affordable and some of the desserts are quite yummy. I would definitely return for another visit.

Overall satisfaction: 7 out of 10.
