Simple Lunch
Just OK 2011-03-12

Decided to give this restaurant a try since Asian Kitchen serves pretty decent food and this was another sub restaurant with a Taiwanese twist.

The plum sauce duck seemed to be a signature dish of the restaurant so had one order of that. It was just duck meat in normal plum sauce and it was nothing out of the ordinary given that it was even a signature dish. The bamboo rice was not too bad and was rather good. The fried tang hoon was only average but the chilli made it slightly better! Ordered beans fried in salted egg yolk. Once again an ordinary dish which was a rather small portion for the price.

The service was rather slow when we asked for water refill and extra utensils. The waitress kept forgetting to bring things to me. Only refilled the water towards the end of our mealsad Overall not really an authentic Taiwanese restaurant, the taste of it was really average and not really true taiwanese fanfare given the price as well.
