I got to know of this restaurant after chancing upon it's article in MyPaper. I got to know of this restaurant after chancing upon it's article in MyPaper. Their proclaimation of their soy beancurd being 'organic, no agar agar, no gypsum and no gelatin added' and most interestingly- 'with collagen' caught my attention. Thus, i dropped by on a hot afternoon for a taste of this healthy treat.

Their soya beancurd comes in original, almond, osmanthus and green tea flavour. I have always like the smell of osmanthus in some chinese desserts, so i decided to try the osmanthus flavoured one.

The soy beancurd was presented to me with a spoon on a black plastic tray which made the experience rather 'classy'.

The beancurd was brown in colour which i later got to know that is because brown sugar was used. Taste wise, it was really not what i expected at all. There wasn't any distinct osmanthus taste nor smell, neither does it have the fragrance of soyabean. Texture wise, despite having it right out of the fridge (the beancurd was real cold), i was drinking more water than eating beancurd. I think it tasted like diluted milky light brown sugar drink. The beancurd doesn't have any pudding texture at all and turn immediately to water upon entering my mouth. The whole thing keep turning to water as i scoop the beancurd.

Disappointed with this beancurd pudding as it is really of low standard. Will not patron them when my beancurd craving strikes again.
