Dinner with the family during a weekend and we decided to head down to Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant, the branch located at The Village, Pioneer. Thought that it will be less crowded due to it's location but we were wrong. It was almost full house on that night and luckily we did call for a reservation prior to the visit, so we are being brought to our round table for 6 pax straight after we arrived. As a fan of seafood, we ordered quite a few seafood dishes but my favorite among all the dishes is definitely the herbal prawns in claypot. The taste of the soup is full of herbal flavor, but it does not have the herbal bitter taste. The prawns is very fresh, solid and crunchy. Definitely worth the money spend!
