This is your typical ice kachang but with a gula melaka twist to it. I saw an uncle eating this and was wondering what it was so I went up to ask him. He said that instead of the usual syrup, he likes to add brown sugar syrup. Sounded interesting so I ordered it. Turns out I like this better than normal ice kachang.
