I was rather intrigued by the red bee hoon that I see on other tables so I decided to try it for myself to see how it tasted like. The person at the stall said that it was fried with mutton and tomato and other spices which gives the bee hoon the bright red colour. When I know it costs $3.50, I thought it is rather expensive but later I realised that the portion is actually quite large and I had a little difficulty finishing it. The bee hoon is very tasty with the spices that went into cooking it. It is also very lightly spicy and the bee hoon used had quite a bit of bite in them. It is a little greasy though, so it is best to share it. Even though the portion is large, it is still a little expensive as it is only bee hoon fried with some vegetables and there is no meat.
