Dropped by Lola's cafe in the morning for some nice pick me up dessert. I ordered their specialty, banana earl grey tart ($4). The tart itself is pretty small, but it's stacked up with banana pieces and covered in earl grey paste and pistachio toppings. This is truly magical- I could discern the distinct earl grey taste, together with the sweetness of banana and the crunchy pistachio and crumbly graham crust with each bite. The tart itself is pretty small, but it's stacked up with banana pieces and covered in earl grey paste and pistachio toppings. This is truly magical- I could discern the distinct earl grey taste, together with the sweetness of banana and the crunchy pistachio and crumbly graham crust with each bite. I was a little confused by the distinct flavors- I felt they do not gel together well but it's a unique combination.  I also ordered a chai tea latte- a nice spicy and milky drink to go with the dessert. The cafe deco is tastefully done with unique pieces of furniture and cost seats- definitely a nice place to chill out!
