SaladStop! at Great World City is relatively new.. As I'm a fan of salads and I was in a mood for something vegetarian, I decided to give this a try.Although most people usually take away their salads, this branch could sit around 25 people. I went down at 1.30pm on a Friday, and there were many working people queuing up and the place was full. I decided to walk around for a bit and returned at 2.20pm when the lunch crowd had dispersed. The place was clean and bright and I was glad I could enjoy

Their signature salads were all very enticing to me, but in the end I chose Go Geisha ($9.80). First they filled a huge bowl FULL of red and white cabbage, and then proceeded to pile on some diced tofu, snow peas, sliced cucumber, shredded carrot, edamame and soba. They then poured all of these into a huge mixing bowl and added the Japanese miso dressing and tossed everything together, after which they put everything back into the first bowl and topped with some sesame seeds.

When I saw how big the portion was, I was thinking "wow this is definitely worth my money" haha. The amount of miso dressing added was just right, such that all the ingredients were nicely coated with it but not drenched in it. The ingredients were also very fresh. Even though it was a huge bowl, everything was very refreshing and light on the palate, hence you wouldn't feel full or stuffed after that.

I also ordered their Roasted Pumpkin Soup ($3.50) which was served hot and provided much comfort during this rainy season. The soup was naturally sweet, the consistency was just right (I'm afraid of pumpkin soups that are too thick) and the portion was quite big too. Definitely worth it and it was extremely satisfying

All the salads & soups are also served with a bread stick, which tasted AMAZING. The bread sticks I've tried before are usually dense and hard with not much of a taste. But this was really light, airy and crispy, and very fragrant with herbs which kinda tasted like foccacia.

This was my first time at SaladStop! and having tried 2 other salad places before, I dare say that SaladStop! has the freshest and most variety of ingredients for you to customize your own salad.

This is now my favourite salad place and I'll definitely return to try their other signature salads!
