During Christmas this year, Café Swiss @ Swissotel The Stamford is having DBS 1-for-1 for their festive lunch & dinner buffet. We decided to try out cafe swiss as we read reviews about it and since it's 1-for-1 deal.Started off w the greens and the wide selections of salad in big pots - taste decent. Started off w the greens and the wide selections of salad in big pots - taste decent. Moving on to their savory dishes, a variety of picks for cheese fondue. Pasta & Omelette station - A choice of tomato or mushroom sauce for your pasta. I had numerous servings of it because of their flavorful mushroom sauce w generous servings of mushroom. Delicious! What's Christmas without roasted turkey? Serving alongside were the German sausages as well. Not to miss the Japanese station, assorted sushi and salmon sashimi. Sashimi were average, not too fresh either. Seafood cold section - Chilled clams, mussels and fresh prawns.
The dessert section were pleasant and satisfying though the variety were limited, considering it's a lunch buffet. There were the log cakes and festive fruit cakes as well! We end off with some sweets from a spread of cakes to pick from.
