It has been a long time since I tried the Mee Goreng at this small restaurant and I am glad I wasn’t in for a disappointment. I waited around 5-10 minutes. It was worth the wait. The Mee Goreng ($6.30) came with an egg and chilli sauce. The chilli sauce is not added in which is good because it might be too spicy for people who don’t take or like chilli in their food. I mixed the chilli in for the extra oomph in the noodles. It is quite similar to the tzi char version but the noodles are darker and definitely more flavourful. It has prawns and bits of fish in it which were a bit chewy. There is not a lot of ingredients, just right to allow you to enjoy the noodles and the taste without being disrupted by too many different tastes and textures. It is a saltier and not as dry compared to the Indian Mee Goreng. The standard of the food has not dropped which is good to know and I would continue to return for more!Post
