Looks aside, the food was quite disappointing. My sister and I shared a bowl of Mango with Pomelo and Vanilla Ice Cream dessert ($5.50). First of all, the service staff only gave us one spoon. It’s not a given to be expected to be given another spoon since it’s obvious we are sharing but some form of initiative would have been greatly appreciated. The mango dessert comes with pomelo fleshes which were very bitter and they are not the soft variety. They were hard and do not go well with the dessert. Furthermore, there is this lump of ice which I did not know if it was supposed to be like this or it didn’t melt completely. The mango was also quite bland but the scoop of vanilla ice cream helps to sweeten the deal.

Overall I am not impressed with the service and the food but I only tried their cold desserts so maybe I had return to try their other mango-related desserts.
