Polar Puffs and Cakes has underwent a lot of transformation and transition from a small pastry shop to a popular bakery with several outlets located around Singapore.Besides their sugar rolls and cakes, they do serve pastries like chicken pie, curry puff, tuna puff and more. Besides their sugar rolls and cakes, they do serve pastries like chicken pie, curry puff, tuna puff and more. I got the Chicken Pie ($2.20) and it was still warm when i ate it. I love the flaky buttery skin and the chunks of chicken and other assorted ingredients like vegetables and mushrooms. It is quite a filling pastry but a bit expensive.There was a bit of a communication barrier when i told the staff i wanted chicken pie and when she said curry puff, i corrected her. At the cashier, i told her its one chicken pie but she said its curry puff and proceeded to change the food for me.
