Salmon Sashimi
I don't usually order salmon sashimi when I'm at Sushi Tei, since I usually get my fix at Sakuraya Fish Mart. However I was craving for it and was surprised that it tastes just as good as the ones from Sakuraya (somehow I always had the impression that the sashimi from Sakuraya would be fresher). There were 5 big slices for $8, and the sashimi was nice and soft. Yum yum

Aburi Salmon Sushi
I ALWAYS order this when I'm at Sushi Tei, even though I feel that it does not taste as good as it used to. For those who have not come across this sushi before, it features salmon that has been seared at the top, with 2 salmon roes. I've always loved aburi salmon because you get to taste the nice soft raw salmon but the seared side also gives a more intense flavour - the best of both worlds!
