Walked over to Golden Shoe Complex for lunch and decided to go for the Tiong Bahru Roasted Pig Specialist stall. Ordered roasted pork and roasted chicken meat. Delicious! It was my first time trying out this stall after so many visits to the complex and it was definitely a pleasant surprise. The roasted pork was springy and oily, but that was what made it perfect. The layer of fats was just nice, not too excessive or little. The meat itself was not dry and tough. It was simply delighting to eat

It was simply delighting to eat it. The roasted chicken felt more towards average, but was still nice. The portion size was filling enough together with the rice. I regreted not asking for more gravy on the rice as the gravy was really flavourful.
Sometimes hawker food can be great too, and cheap! Will definitely come back for more.
