I was walking along Katong and found that most of the cafe sells western food. I wanted to have local food during Lunch, hence I walked to Katong Shopping Centre basement foodcourt.

The varieties of yong tau foo in this stall was many until they need to put out another table for customers to choose the ingredients. I chosen 10 items and it cost $5.

The fried Yong Tau Foo items were deep fried, piping hot and crispy after cooked, unlike other stalls that drenched into water to cook.

I find the dark sweet sauce was more salty than sweet, I should have put lesser into the Yong Tau Foo dish.

There was a small bowl a soup given for ordering dry version. The soup tasted of soya bean and sweet meat broth.

Overall, the Yong Tau Foo was good due to the freshly deep fried items.
