I am walking along Clark Quay. After some shopping, we started to feel hungry. So we pop into a shopping mall called THE CENTRAL. We went to the basement to look for some food, we stop by a shop which sell curries. Had ordered Curry Chicken and Fried Chicken Wings. The curry chicken is simply awesome. I had tried so many curry around Singapore and their taste is pretty unique. Had talk to the staff and they mentioned that it's a home cooked recipe. Their fried chicken wings is also different and it had a taste of their own. After trying their food, I decided to order 2 roti prata. The prata was served together with their unique curry sauce. It taste so different, also their prata only cook when ordered. So it's piping hot when served. All the food we order including the drinks only came up to less than $6 per person. It's value for money especially in area like Clark Quay. I will definitely visit the cafe again. continue reading

Went to clarke quey to do some stuff with friends. After finish doing the stuff, we were starving and we decided to go for curry café as most the shops’ seats were already occupied and there were one table available for us at curry café as the customers just left.We had ordered one curry chicken, one vegie curry, two bowl of rice and one slide of roti canai. We did regret to have our dinner at CURRY CAFÉ. But somehow, we have some comment about the vegie curry. The vegie curry tasted too light for us. It tasted very “vegie” and the curry taste has been covered by the vegie taste. Will not go for the vegie curry again. But will definitely visit the shop for the chicken curry in the future, continue reading

I was super hungry on my way from work, so I stopped by Central & went to the food court in the basement. I went to Curry cafe & ordered a Prata with sausage & cheese. The Prata costs just 2 $. It was a frozen prata that was fried & a sausage rolled in it, with some cheese. It was nice, cheap & filling. Nothing extra ordinary. It was served with a yummy veg curry though, which I finished off. I enjoyed my evening snack today. continue reading
