Din Gi Noodle House sells mainly noodles but they have other side dishes like veggies, sheng jian bao, etc. If you choose to have their set meal (a noodle + a veg + drink and dessert), it costs slightly more at an average of $14. I chose the dan dan noodles without the set meal as the other dishes weren't tempting. Minced dried shrimp was placed on top, and the noodles was tangy and chewy; but it was a bit too spicy for my liking.

Noodle Expert - Just Noodles
Cries 2012-12-05
Visited this joint for the 1st time using Groupon $15 for $30 worth voucher. This place is more of a cafe style than restaurant at the basement two, so you are not bounded by 3 or 4 walls but surrounded by fellow diners including those from adjacent food stalls like sakae tepanyaki and ji de chi desserts. The semi open concept kitchen does provide viewing pleasure of the chef "pulling" out long strand (their signature dish of single strand noodle) of noodle into the hot water to be cooked.

Our order included chicken soup ($8.50), dandan noodle ($8.50), Spinach Ginger ($3.50) and Tomato & Egg Noodle ($7.80). Both our noodles were the dried version, i would rate the noodles 7.5/10, the noodles tasted home-made, not like those factory made standard noodles. Ingredients wise was a bit little though. The plain soup that accompany the noodels were a let down, being very bland and tasted like the water that was used to scald the noodles. I also wouldn't rate it highly for the chicken soup and spinach. Both were below average especially the spinach which taste cold and bland. Those that prefer local style of vege with oyster sauce better not order this.

Customer service wise is pretty ok except that they forgot my order of beef slices.

Birthday Dinner Horror?
Cries 2012-04-27

I would definitely remember this horror birthday dinner of mine huffy
I wanted to have pastamania but there was quite a crowd, moreover my friends were very hungry.
One of my pals suggested this noodle place.
Initially i didn't want to as i wanted to have a special birthday dinner, not some noodle place that looks so-so.
However we still decide to have it as my friend saw the menu billboard that they have this birthday noodle specials.
But although the food's not nice, the staff was nice enough to sell me that at the price of $9.90 as i didn't bring my NRIC, it was written usual price of $29.90 shocked
Anyway when the noodles first came i thought maybe i was wrong, it would be nice!
However the soup was bland for one, and the "shou tao" was cold? mad
The noodle was packed with lots of goodies, there's egg, bean sprouts, tomatos, mushrooms, prawns and abalone.
It sure looks like a real abalone but the taste was super weird, definitely the worse i have eaten. It was just so rubbery and salty huffy
Seriously i don't think i will be back, but i will recommend my friend's beef noodle whose soup was even more tasty than my birthday noodles? sad

Pickled Vegetable with Pork Noodles
Just OK 2012-04-13

Those who loves to eat hand made noodles may enjoy the quality noodles make by the Chinese chefs at DinGi Noodle house. There are two types of hand made noodles for you to choose from which includes the normal thick version and the flat long version.Irregardless which one you choose, both are chewy and thick in texture. The soup base is thick and not too salty. However I should say it would be better if the pickles and minced pork meat use in this dish can be more. The portion is quite big so at the price of eight dollar and twenty cents per bowl, it is still worth the try.

Tomato & Egg Noodles
Just OK 2012-04-08

First impression, I was intrigued by the variety of Chinese noodles and dim sums on their menu. Although spoilt for choices, I could only down limited dishes over my lunch time.I have then decided to try their tomato and Egg noodle, which is a large bowl of overwhelming amount of noodles and tomatoes boiled in the soup. But this is only for those who love the sour-sweet tast of the tomatoes. Quite appetizing and great for those who wants to have a good complexion due to the generous amount of tomatoes in it. Not too bad afterall.

Din-Gi Noodle House
Just OK 2011-07-13
Din-Gi Noodle house is a branch new small Chinese restaurant at Plaza Singapura. They are specialist in making one fine strand of la mian and make into different types of noodes such as mixed vegetable noodle, Jelly noodle in spicy sauce, Minced pork noodle and etc. Beside their signature one strand noodle, I also love to eat their pan fried pork meat guo tia, which is not too oily and the meat filling is generous. Check it out as they also have lunch promotion during weekdays as well. My verdict: 6.5/10
