 Then we tried the Super Punkhead Cake (SGD$5.00) - I had chosen this simply purely because of its really cute looks. The cream was made into spikes, making the entire creation look so mean - but the spongy soft cake tasting deliciously of durian's sweetness was gentle on the palate.

1) Durian cheesecake $4.30: This was something that I never tried before. To me, it tasted  average. This cheesecake had a very distinctive taste of durian while the cheese flavour on the other hand tasted more subtle. 2) Durian empire drink $3.80: The durian taste was quite strong but I felt that it would be better to share this as it may get "gelat" for one person to finish. Overall, worth a try.

 Durian Coil was made up of 3 layers with D24 Durians covering up the exterior portion (most yellowish portion of the coil) and in the middle with a Durian Flavour Sponge cake and then the durian puree in its core. A good 3 layers combination is rich and pleasing for a night!

 These durian pastry puffs are the mini versions and it comes in 2. Most of the puff comes in a box of 6 and it is seldom that I come across a pair for sale, thus I decided to have chosen a smaller quantity to try out.

The durian empire shop is located in the middle of the walkway with seats available. The durian puffs were quite yummy. The amount of durian fillings in each puff was just nice and I could really taste the durian. Real durian fruit was used to create the fillings! It was soft and creamy and very addictive especially since I loved the taste of the puff too so it was a heavenly combination. I can't remember the price but it was well worth the money!

It just tasted like the liu lian gao from Malaysia that we usually bring back after the trip, just that the colour is different and was mound into another shape. There is also an eggy after note which is not very nice. I prefer the durian mousse cake that my friend ordered. My sister brought a durian cake from mempire it taste really nice...the durian was nice and the cake is soft ..it meant to be shared with family and the portion was just nice ..its about 1 kg $50++ well the price was reasonable as durian cake are always not cheap ..is a must try for durian cake in this store , as not to missed the good things in life

The durian cream outside is covered by 猫山王, this is so great, and you can really taste what is true durian.Inside the cream, there is a coil like sponge cake.Inside the sponge cake, there is D24 durian and you can eat together with the cream outside.Two durian coils only for $10, is worth!!! The durian meat is slightly bitter and yet with an added of slight sweetness to it. Durian cakes' sponge are crush into really fine pieces to be spread at the sides of the cake to add on that little cute design to it. The price maybe abit too high as is over fifty dollars for just a merely 600 grams of whole cake. Fortunately the taste is indeed yummy!

Durian lover! I went to brought a cake at Durian Mpire. The durian cake was good but the only thing I don't really like is too much whipped cream or royal icing. Thumb up for the fresh rich durian and the soft vanilla sponge. The staffs there was really helpful. There are many other durian dessert like durian roll, pudding, drinks, there are seats available at the store for me to have tea-time there! Overall great place to have tea-time for durian lover!

Real durian in puffy puffs = awesome. I really like these durian puffs because they are small and easy to pop into my mouth, and savour the durian all at one go! The durian is fleshy yet creamery and the puff is soft. The whole puff just melts in your mouth. Must remember to eat it slightly chilled, not overly chilled or else the durian inside would be frozen and hard. A good buy!

I bought the Durian pudding and durian pudding because they look so tempting inside the glass cupboard. I was thinking the mango pudding can reduce the smell of durian in my mouth after eating the durian pudding so I bought it.


The puddings are not over sweet luckily so I can finish all by myself. But the flavor of mango is not too strong, which it’s gives you a thought of only the coloring that makes the pudding looks tasty. The durian pudding taste better than the mango pudding. It’s a bit softer than the mango pudding. Don’t worry, the Durian aroma is not too strong. You can still shopping after eating it. Besides, you can sit down comfortable eating there, Nice!

besides durian products, they also sell other kinds of desserts like mango pudding and black forest Mini Mousse. they caters to both the durian lovers and the non durian lovers... do drop by if u are craving for a light refreshing snack in the hot afternoon.
