This stall is one of the best stall I've tried in this hawker center! The queue is usually quite long and I waited for about 10 minutes before I gave my order. I ordered dried mee pok bak chor mee with chilli. The noodles here are quite special with a hint of vinegar sauce that you won't get sick of. The noodles are also chewy plus there are also mushrooms and pork liver inside which makes the noodle special! The laksa is a must try too with loads of cockles! continue reading

At Kovan Market & Food Centre for dinner. You never feel bore eating this stall bak chor mee. They 3 stalls next to each other. Making you think which is nice. And making you think which outlet is the original bak chor mee.But this stall will never run away as you will always see long Q. Waiting in line is abt 15 to 20 min.So make you think this stall should be the original bak chor mee. I will always buy the mouse mee as you will able to taste their soup base more. Like their soup.Overall ; worth your time to wait in the Q. continue reading

Kovan Hougang Market and Food Centre was under renovation and it is opened in Nov 2010. Most of the old stalls are back and one of them is Fa Ji Minced Meat Fishball Noodle. Although there are quite a few noodle stalls at the food centre, a long queue can always be seen at the stall. A bowl of minced meat fishball noodle will cost $3 or $3.50 that came with a generous servicing of fishballs, meatball, slices of fish cakes, liver, mushroom and minced meat. Usually Bak Chor Mee does not come with fishballs and fish cakes but you have it all here. The fishballs and fish cakes were fresh and tasty too. continue reading
