Fancy egg tart
Smile 2013-04-16

Went to IMM food Kiosk area and saw that Fancy Delight sells different type of flavor egg tarts which attracted me.There are over 10 different flavors for me to choose from.Out of the 9 egg tarts that i bought,i like the melting chocolate, orange chocolate and the mushroom chicken the most.

The melting chocolate is a little bittersweet and there is chocolate oozing out in the center of the tart. The orange chocolate is sweet and also tangy which make the egg tart taste unique. As for the mushroom chicken egg tart, initially i was hesitate of choosing it but since all flavor that i chose are the sweet type and mushroom chicken in egg tart sounds interesting i decided to try it too.The taste of the mushroom chicken is like eating a mushroom pie but with egg tart.

As there are discount promotion around 9pm,all egg tarts are selling at $1 each.

Egg Tart

Fancy Delight has managed to transform the traditional the egg tart snack into an artistic piece of work with 10 over different authentic flavours such as double chocolate, pepper chicken, apple cinnamon and many many more. Currently it has 3 outlets in Tanjong Pagar Plaza, City Square Mall and IMM selling these yummy cup shape egg tarts.

The egg tarts freshly made daily was very delectable with a nice crust. The interesting combination of flavours to the tradition tart is unique and flavourful.

I bought the mushroom chicken tart during their food fair at takashimaya .

It cost me $1.20 per tart i think is quite valuable for it since the normal egg tart i bought at the neighbourhood bakery shop is 80 cents - $1.

Furthermore, there is Mushroom and CHicken !

Well, the tart is heavenly fragrant and tasty !

However, if you have more than 3 ... it will make you feel gross due to the oil .

So 1-2 per person is just nice. ( this is what i think )

I will try their jam flavour tarts the next time i visit to IMM lol

Fancy Delight is simply amazing! It is so cool how they can incorporate the many different flavours into the traditional egg tarts! I love the durian egg tart and green tea egg tart. Both are very special in their own ways! The durian has a very rich durian taste and suits perfectly for durian lovers like me! The green tea tart is also very unique!

Delightful Fancy Delight
Smile 2011-05-23
Fancy Delight has a wide selection of flavours to choose from.. I have tried chocolate, greentea, durian, original and cheese flavours and i love them all. Original is good, but i recommend you to try out the other flavours because all have a very surprising taste to it. Greentea is nice..
To those wh have not tried it before, the outside crust is hard yet fragrant, and the inside is similar to that of egg tart, soft and juicy and with lots of flavours. The chocolate one that is showed in the photo has very strong chocolate flavour that will ooze out of your mouth..

Fancy delight egg tarts~
Smile 2011-05-22

it is a little fancy delight egg tart with cheese on top~ You will fall in love with this if you love cheese. The tart with silky soft egg custard is delicious. It is a perfect combination of a little of cheese with the egg custard. I would recommend other consumers to eat it fresh just after you purchased. because the texture for the egg tart is not as good after you put it into the fridge. the cheese will be slightly too dry if you do so.

a very nice snack
Smile 2010-12-19
My girlfriend surprised me with a cute little snack the other day. It looked like a egg tart, but the base is not like the egg tart base. She bought me apple flavour. The apple topping they use taste a little like the ones you find in mac apple pie. She bought herself the original flavour, the filling looked exactly like the Portuguese egg tart. The base taste very nice and buttery, topped with the sweet toppings, a very nice snack!

a different kind of egg tart
Smile 2010-12-12
I was craving for something sweet while shopping at daiso the other day with my mum, we came across fancy delight while taking the escalator down. They sell very unique egg tarts. The pastry was rather unique, the texture was more like the fruit tart kind of pastry but softer. They had different flavours both sweet and savory. I ordered the strawberry flavor one, while my mum got the green tea flavor one. For mine, the tart was brown in colour, the normal egg tart colour, but the feeling was in pink with jam in the centre. It looked really cute.

My mum’s green tea egg tart was different, hers the tart was green tea flavoured and green in colour. Her filling was the normal Portuguese egg tart filling.

It was both really yummy only cost $1.40 for 1 tart.

Assorted Egg Tarts
Smile 2010-07-01
Come across this bright orangy colour stall known as "Fancy Delight" at level one of IMM Building where they display many different varieties of unique Egg Tarts. The tarts are very different from the usual one that we had at Dim Sum restaurant. Their tarts are shaped like a little cup that comes in around 20 or so different flavours range from sweet & savoury. So after some discussion we decided to settle with these 4 flavour.

Banana Tart - which topped with slices of fragrance fresh banana gives it an irresistible Goreng Pisang taste. This is Rey's favourite compare to the Double-Chocolate Tart that he pick because of the sweet and tasty aroma of the banana that is infuse in the custard.

My pick is this Green Tea Tart as I was attracted by the bright green colour of the crust and also I love the fragrance of any green-tea products. And true enough, the tart shell is very fragrance and it match well with the inner custard which release a very refreshing taste when consume.

Double-Chocolate Tart is chosen by Rey but in the end he prefers the Banana Tart over this. It has a chocolate marble tart that is filled with chocolate milk custard and top with extra chocolate chips.
