I love Tanjong Pagar. It's no secret, I love wandering around there if I could, even if I've roamed the same street ten times before. I revel in the feeling of getting lost in the maze of streets between Tanjong and Chinatown, and then turning another corner to find myself on familiar ground again. It's addictive; I can do that for the whole afternoon. Sometimes it feels as if I transported back in time. Fluffy Dessert sticks out like a sore thumb in the row of shophouses with its bright pink pop of contemporary colours, also possibly the reason why it stopped people in their tracks to enter for an afternoon sojourn.Or rather, I was feeling really peckish and hungry at the same time, so anything icy & sweet goes. I decided to go for their Durian Snow Ice ($4.90) because durian felt like the craving of the moment. The durian-flavoured snow ice arrived in a bowl of cornflakes, with thick, velvety durian paste at the bottom of the bowl. I was thoroughly satisfied with the quality of their desserts here. I'm not crazy over durian, nor do I normally eat durian as a fruit. But this is good, it's not overwhelming and very fragrant. Yes, the durian is fragrant - these two words appearing in a single sentence. An indulging afternoon. Not to mention, I went on to eat a full meal of Swensen's right after this... just nursing the glutton in me.

As the name Fluffy portrays, this dessert place signature Snow Ice has indeed a fluffy texture. And to add an extra twist to it, there is a whole range of different ice flavors one can choose from such as milk, soy, horlicks and mango. For a sourish option, there is also the option of Lime Sherbet Ice.Aside from its interesting variety, the place has an interesting homey atmosphere too. Walled in pink, there are five small posters hung on wall stating reasons why one should not hesitate indulging in desserts. Haha for girls, there is indeed always a stomach for desserts Overall decorations gives off quite an adorable vibe, cute and sweet Had a mini Soy Snow Ice with coffee jelly as topping ($4) and LimeLight. The snow ice had quite strong soy taste but was slightly too sweet for my liking. The Lime rendition was nice and refreshing with generous portion of toppings. If you are around Tanjong Pagar, it is a good place to chit chat while having some desserts. The place sells beancurd, Chinese paste and pancakes too. But ahh perhaps the place suits more for the females as we always have room for sweet stuff and a thing for pink cute stuff

One should really give their signature dessert, 'Fluffy Signature', over here a good try. It comes with a small mountain of milk flavoured 'Snow Ice' surrounded by cubes of freshly cut 'Kiwi', 'Mango' and 'Strawberry'. When you scoop a bit of 'Snow Ice' and pieces of 'Kiwi' and 'Strawberry' together, you will be getting this shivering sensation that to a certain extent, it felt like 'Winter'.
