Chicago-based Garrett Popcorn is exceedingly generous with their samples.After trying their samples, I bought a large Caramel at $11.00 so that I can actually eat it for days because they are very nice popcorn.I remembered tasting Garrett Popcorn when it first open 2 years ago in Kuala Lumpur.They are handmade fresh every day, one batch at a time, using the highest quality in copper kettles and it easily makes a hit among teenagers in Bangkok according to my friend's sayings last night 10.00 p.m.Note: So sinfully good, simply just cannot stop at one handful...lol!

Freshly from oven everyday, Garrett was the only one popcorn brand I like to consume all the time. Strong buttery scent seduced along the path in shopping mall, it was irresistible to say no to this popcorn. Different sizes available, best seller was CaramelCrisp.Too many? Relax! We were buying these for gathering, struggling with quantity because it was hard to estimate. More was always better than less, furthermore popcorns for me were unstoppable once starting the first bite. Texture was light and fluffy, amazingly deliciousness. With a hint of burnt smokiness, popcorn was intensely sweet. Be warned, they are dangerously addictive snack.

Who would ever expected popcorn to be that exquisite that this gourmet outlet would just spruce all over town in a flash? Every time I walk by a Garrett popcorn shop, I'd marvel at the long queue of people who are willing to pay a substantial amount of money for some corn kernels. Until one day, I couldn't resist the smell of popped corn, caramel and butter in the air that I told my husband, "We just have to grab one bag to try". We picked the macadamia one.And the verdict? It is worth every penny we spent. Every freshly popped corn was well coated with the sweet caramel and coupled with a generous serving of macadamia nuts. The nuts came in halves and wholes, not just bits and pieces. This popcorn wasn't anything like what we could get at movie theatres. They came in chunks (stuck together due to the thick sticky caramel) and tasted really crispy and fresh. It's a addictive snack! Do note the caramel is very sweet and you can get a little sickly from eating too much but still, it's a must-try. Best snack for movie goers!

i seldom buy cause it's too expensivethis time i had their sweet caramel and salty cheese mix together Sweet caramel is intensely sweet, butter taste very strong,too sweet for me but is very crunchy,but for the cheese,it was not crispy,seem like "lau hong" too much artificial colour added,after eating it,finger all turn yellow,have to wash away with soap few times to get rid of the colour,and is really very salty,i don't think it worth the money and queue

Garrett Popcorn had been around for years, and till date, their standard still remains. Popcorn are made fresh daily, and each is well coated with thick layer of caramel, yummy! There are savory favors like the cheese ones, but I would still think that the sweet one score much better in terms of taste. CaramelCrisp is $5 for a small bag of it, which is more than enough for 2 to share even though it is so addictive, because it is so sweet.
