Good Day located at Amoy Food Centre is a tze char stall with the Beef Hor Fun as its signature dish. It also serves a variety of hor fun (e.g Seafood, Slice Fish) and fried rice (e.g Yangzhou style, Beef). I always tell my beef-lovers friends that this is my favourite beef hor fun in Singapore, definitely better than Geylang Lor 9's. However, be prepared to brave the long queue during lunch hours and the average waiting time is between 15 to 20 minutes. So what constitutes a plate of awesome beef hor fun? First, the beef are best cooked as thin slices, the juicy beef at Good Day is cooked just right. Secondly, it is important to have sufficient 'wok hei' for a plate of hor fun to be tasty! Third, the Gravy! I must commend the rich thick black bean gravy that makes this beef hor fun flavourful! Lastly, for $4 a plate, they dish out a generous portion. Give me a plate of Good Day's Beef Hor Fun anytime! It certainly satiated my picky taste buds! continue reading

The thick sauce of the beef horfun is savory and really delicious continue reading

They are always packed during lunch time. Queues are common for Good Day. They serve really good beef noodle for only $5. It is affordable and tasty. What I like about them is that they always throw in a lot of beef slices for one plate of noodle. It might be a little salty for me but other than that it was good. It it definitely a stall to visit if you are around tanjong pagar. (: continue reading
