I saw this stall on Open Rice and decided to try it for lunch that day. The variety of food items offered looked appetizing when I was there so I went ahead to pick items. They offer both fried and non-fried food items but sadly, they don’t refry the fried items (which other stalls sometimes do) but throw them straight into the soup to cook. There was a minimum of 6 food items that I had to choose, with each item costing 40 cents and 50 cents for the noodles. The aunty cooked quite quickly, so I didn’t have to wait long. I asked for my noodles to be dry so I was given a bowl of soup with beans in it. There was quite a lot of bee hoon but I managed to finish it together with the other food items. The food items were quite small in portion, for example, the kangkong was only a very small bunch. The yong tau foo sauce (the black one) that I put into my noodles was a little sour, I was not sure whether it is supposed to be like that, but I just continued eating. Overall, it was a full and satisfying lunch! continue reading
