Introduction
Hoshino Coffee specialises in hand-dripped coffee, resulting in a cleaner, lighter taste compared to conventional coffee that Singaporeans have grown accustomed to. Their special souffle includes the Fuwa Hoshino souffle which is savoury, but they also have sweet treats such as matcha and vanilla souffles.

Located on the third floor extension of Plaza Singapura, is Hoshino Coffee, a popular Japanese chain of coffee shop. I wanted to try this so badly at Shibuya but time did not allow. So back here in Singapore, I decided to go all out and try it!! 7 soufflés ordered and here goes my personal soufflé buffet!!Now that is supposedly Spring in Japan, even though my Japanese friends told me it snowed last week and it's currently 6 degrees celsius in Tokyo, the Sprin...

We were there at 6pm on a weekday evening, and since there was no queue (happy!), we decided to have our dinner there. The place look really nice and comfy to chill but sadly only two of us couldnt get to sit on their comfy looking sofa seats which is for a bigger group. Anyway, it was our first time there so was quite excited to try the food. Being green tea lovers, we ordered the Hot Matcha Latte ($9). I feel it is quite overpriced for this small cup of matcha latte which I...

Lobster bisque spaghetti

DEC 13

I had a lobster bisque spaghetti $16 and was surprised by its portion which was larger than average. The prawns were not of the freshest quality but they were not small. There were 3 prawns and the spaghetti was soaked in the lobster bisque. The lobster bisque taste was strong and there were some mini tofu cubes too. It may be too overwhelming for one person to finish it all.

Fuwa fuwa souffle

Japanese blended coffee $5.80. The coffee was too bitter for me despite adding 2 servings of sugar. Can't really appreciate this black coffee but it was aromatic and rich.fuwa fuwa souffle $15.80. This was really fluffy and the rice underneath this fluffy goodness was flavourful and moist, accompanied with pork that tasted like bacon and ham and beef which did not have a strong beefy taste. There was a waiting time of around 15 minutes for food to arrive after being seated.

For more details, please visit http://foodesteem.blogspot.com/2013/12/hoshino-coffee.html "Hoshino" Blended Coffee ($5.80), which is roasted over open fire, producing a strong bodied flavor with pleasant sourness. Personally, I love the slight bitter taste, and the tad of sourness to wake my mind from the morning blurness tongue Lobster Bisque Soup Spaghetti ($16.00). Of course, no lack of lobster taste, but I don't quite like it.. "Hoshino" Pot-Baked ...

Was back to Hoshino coffee with my friends for desserts. This time round we had matcha (which means green tea) souffle and it was so good! If you have a sweet tooth like me you will love it! If nt it might be too sweet for you. This cost $9.80++ and me n my friend paid $6 each. For the standard of the food this is really value for money. The green tea flavor is very distinct. The souffle is fluffy and soft and creamy! A highly recommended dish if you love green tea flavo...

Hoshino Spaghetti is the bomb mad Aglio olio styled, but please remember to toss it real well before digging greedily into the pasta. Served warmly fragrant, and look at that egg shocked Also included will be the not too oily bacon steaks, soft tomatoes, juicy shimeji mushrooms and plenty of spinach leaves.

Catching a whiff of coffee, it triggered my yearning towards Hi-Tea. Hoshino offered extensive and complete from main course to dessert, Menu was neat displayed with proper description and pricing. To play safe, I ordered their signatory dish and it would never go wrong. Thickest pancake ever, it was dense with fluffy texture. Maple syrup came along was extremely sweet, we didn’t pour it finish with one shot. Cake itself was decent enough, light cream on top with fresh banana and s...

I've heard so much about this place and a recent last minute dinner arrangement lead me to this place! As it was just a quick dinner so my friend and i decided to just go for the pasta! I was tempted to have their signature pasta but was craving for seafood so i chose the Pescatora Seafood Pasta. It looks really good when it arrived at my table and i can't wait to try it. I love the portion. Just nice for me! Seafood is fresh and spaghetti texture is just nice. My friend o...

I've been wanting to try this Japanese franchise cafe for some time already but there's always a long queue during weekends. The wait is finally over when I managed to beat the queue on a Friday evening at 6pm. Queue only started to form up from around 6.30pm onwards...phew. An array of food replicas are on display at the entrance to help patrons decide on what to order while waiting for their seats. The cafe has a polished european style decor with refined looking leather sofas, anti...
