Initially, I wanted to get Joo siah bak kut teh which was also at this hawker centre but they had no ribs so I settled for this stall which was quite popular there too. Total cost of the meal was $17 - 1 bowl of salted vegetables, 2 bowls of pork ribs soup and 2 bowls of rice. The salted vegetables came with some thinly sliced pig skin which was soft but not chewy. The vegetables were very soft and not too salty. It also went well with the rice. The pork ribs were average tasting but they were not tough nor tender. I'd say they were more towards the tender side rather than the tough side. The soup was quite oily and was very peppery but unfortunately it lacked the taste and fragrance of bak kut teh. Overall, 5.5/10.

Went to eat this Bak Kut Teh with my group of friend before heading to Jurong Bird Park...1st time i recommend to this stall to them as have been eating since I was 20...The soup is really delicious, the soup is tasty and not like many bak kut teh, you will not feel thirsty after drinking the soup, the braised pig trotters, it was not very oily and the trotters are quite lean, remain tender when you bite into them...Their pig organs soup is one of the nicest soup around (my favorite) and will recommend it to people looking to enjoy a sumptuous meal of bak kut teh...

Besides eating the laksa, we ordered the bak kut teh from a nearby stall. My hubby loves bak kut teh so we got ourselves a bowl to share. The soup was very tasty, I found it a little peppery though. The amount of salt they add to the soup is just right, not too salty, making you want to drink more. The bak kut was good, the meat was not too tough, it was rather chewy. It was a little oily, but bak kut teh itself is fattening but this stall the oil was not as much as other stalls I have eaten so I guess they are one of the healthier bak kut teh stalls.

My mother ordered the bak kut teh at the market. It did take sometime for it to be served probably because we went during the peak hours. The bak kut teh from this stall is pretty good. The soup has this very herb smell which makes it very appetizing. It was very tasty, not too salty and the herbs taste was not too overwhelming. The pork ribs were very tender and the herbs taste had infused into the meat. When you dipped the meat into the black sauce, it is absolutely delicious. The soup is not too oily too so you can have it for breakfast and wun feel heavy the whole day.

There are two bak gu teh stalls in this hawker centre. I wasnt sure which one is featured on channel 8 before, so I just tried my luck at this stall. I ordered the bak gu teh and it comes with quite a generous portion of pork ribs. The smell of the soup was so nice, I quickly tucked into it. The soup is just how I liked it. It is very peppery and is quite spicy, but very very addictive. I couldn't help but drink all of the soup because it is so tasty. The pork ribs are also quite nice, the meat is not too tough. Next time I will try out the other bak gu teh stall to do a comparison!
