Famous for its Salted Veg Duck Soup, also available: Braised Duck, duck porridge and Braised Pork Meat. Soup is very appetizing, duck is well marinated complete with dark soy sauce savory gravy - truly tasty. We had one whole braised duck + 2 bowls of soup + 4 plates of rice, cost us $54. For the food quality, it's worth it. continue reading

Delicious duck rice that comes with tender duck meat and braised sauce on the rice. The queue is usually a bit long during weekdays lunch hours. To avoid long queue, will have to queue a bit earlier. The salted vegetable duck soup is highly recommended for soup lovers, the duck meat is soft and the soup tastes just good. continue reading

I have heard my friends raving about the duck rice from this stall and finally got down to trying it a few days ago. We tried to avoid the queues by going earlier at around 11:45 pm and luckily the queue is still very short. We ordered the duck rice and also added an egg to the rice. I love the duck meat a lot. It is really tender and it is nicely marinated with the braised sauce and a perfect match with the chilli that they provide. I thought the chilli also went very well with the plain white rice. We got the gravy to be packed separately and it is a must to add the delicious and fragrant gravy to your rice. If you are not concerned about the fats, eating the duck meat with its skin is even more "shiok" as the fats further tenderise the meat. I can understand the long queues at this stall now! continue reading

The duck rice from this stall has always been a regular choice for lunch. The best timing to be there to avoid long queue is in between 9.30 am to 11.00 am. They are usually sold out by 2 pm. Their regular off day is on Thursday. Their braised duck is serves with only white rice. The white rice is the better choice to go with their aromatic braised sauce and their special chilli. The texture of their braised duck has the desirable tenderness and nicely braised to give it the slightly salty taste and aromatic flavor. After all this while, this is still one of the better duck rice in Singapore. continue reading

We ordered the braised duck and the soup. The braised duck was well-infused with the fragrantly spiced soya sauce-based gravy that was not too sweet. They did not infuse the richly flavoured gravy with starch, something which some other places do. When added to the steamed rice, the gravy made a delightful taste. The soup itself was also not too bad, with it not being overly salty. continue reading
