I have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions . For lunch, instead of steamboat, which you need to cook and it can be quite time-consuming, you can opt for dim sum and ala carte dishes. As it was a business meeting, we opted for the ala carte and dim sum options. Here are the meal highlights:- Soup with Prawn Dumpling (Shui Jiao): soup is rich and the dumpling had minced pork, black fungus and prawns. It was filling.- Prawn Dumpling (Har Kow): One of the best I have eaten. Its moist inside and ingredients were fresh. Recommended.- Pork Dumpling (Siew Mai): Best eaten when its served to the table, when its hot!- Beef Ball: This is a Cantonese dim sum. Minced beef rolled into a ball and steamed. Served with a sauce that reminds me of Worchester sauce. Chewy and nice.- Steamed Radish with Prawn and Conpoy: this was nice. Radish was soft and the sauce for the dish was tasty.- Mee Pok with Minced Pork and sliced Brinjal: The noodles were nicely stewed with the minced pork adding flavor to the dish. Try it!- Molten Lava Bun: Steamed bun with a salted egg yolk and custard bun. Eat it cautiously, as the filling is hot and may scald you when you bite into it.- Red Bean Paste Dessert: Red bean paste that has been cooked with dry orange peel. It has a nice citrus-sy flavor and I couldn’t stop till I finished the whole bowl.Good quality dim sum that always hit the mark.Highly recommended! continue reading

This soy sauce chicken noodle is super super nice. The noodle is cooked to perfection, no starch taste since it's totally cooked. And it's soft. It absorbs the sauce well too therefore every mouth is flavorful The chicken is nice too. Soft and tender, and the meat does not have blood on it. Dipped it inside the sauce and it's delicious. The soup is very nice too! Normally when I ordered noodles outside, the soup will not be nice but this, is rich in flavor by itself. I finished the bowl of soup However, the portion of the noodle is very little, not enough for me The service is good and you need to order and pay before you find seats to sit down. The serving time is fast too. continue reading

The restaurant offers premium steamboat with really fresh and high quality food. Price is a bit steep but definitely worth it for the freshness and quality. Besides ala carte menu, it does offer set menu for 2 and 4 persons too. My friends and I went for the set menu for 4 person. For the broth, we went for the Healty Chicken Soup and Traditional Pork's Bone Soup. Yes it is spelt as "Healty" in the menu (not sure whether it was a spelling error). For the starter, we have the fried fish skin. The dip for the fried fish skin was very good. The fried fish skin was crispy and nice but I thought the size was a bit small compare to what I have eaten elsewhere.Next up was fun time. We were presented with a tray of 12 ingredients for us to mix and match our own dipping sauce.Lastly it was the main. When it was served there was a commotion in the group. We realized the prawns were alive and moving. OK! this is really fresh! It can be quite a disturbing sight to some when the prawns struggled in the hot steamboat. Besides the freshness of the seafood, the pork and beef were of premium quality too. continue reading

Steamboat set at Imperial Treasure is really value for money. Full set is filled with generous amount of prawns, lean meat, shitake mushroom, beancurds, green vegetables, mushrooms and chicken meat. The chicken soup and tom yam soup both taste really fragrant and delicious. Most important is there are quite a few types of condiments available for you to dip your food items, which my favourite is their thick peanut sauce which is really fragrant and not too sweet. The staffs here are very helpful and they will oftenly walk around to check your tables and top up the soup base for you. An ideal place for family gathering. continue reading

headed to imperial treasure for some chinese dinner. I was not really a fan of traditional chinese food but I still went along with my family. They ordered a lot of dish, like zi char. My favourite is the crab. It was so fresh, I managed to take a pincer. It was fat and juicy. so fresh that it was really very sweet. the gravy they cooked the crab in was very tasty, but a little salty. Nevertheless, it was so delicious! It's boss' treat so I didn't care what was ordered, but every dish was delicious including the dessert~ Every dish is a little more 精致 than the ones at Orchard & Tampines1. Have a feeling that the price is also a little higher but tat's jus a feeling, I have no proof of tat ;pDefinitely a place to bring parents & relatives to~ continue reading
