Isle Café

This mini food court certainly has many regular customers patrolling here during lunch hours. It took me more than fifteen minutes before I am able to get a seat for myself. Here the setting is quite squeezy and uncomfortable and also not really clean tables can be found here. But because of their popular curry noodles, i do not mind those negative points here. Noodles are chewy and the thick spicy curry gravy is very tasty and appetitizing. THe portion is generous and merely three dollars per bowl, surely a great bargain meal! Service was normal and nothing fantastic.

It is one of the coffee shops in the bustling city of orchard. It is located behind the OG orchard at Cuppage Plaza. I love the mixed vegetable rice here. It is ideally cheap in town, with only 2 vegetable and 1 meat, it costs only $3. Where you can find food costs $3 in city nowadays. I love their tau kee too; it is braised and tasted good, not too salty too. This coffee café sells $1.2 drinks too, it is sealed like bubble tea with different flavor. I always choose the prune drink.

Affordable and great taste mee rebus can be found at ISLE cafe. The environment is just like the usual coffee shop, however you are a food seeker for quality food, here is an ideal place to go to. The thick peanut chilli gravy is really sweet and not too spicy. The portion of the yellow noodles is also quite generous. Love those cut parsleys and deep fried spring onions that are topped on this dish, which added that extra fragrant to this likeable muslim food. One whole boiled egg is also place in it, which is quite generous as usually other stalls only place half a whole boiled egg in it.

Here at Isle Cafe, you will be able to purchase their signature mixed vegetable rice at very affordable price in Orchard area. With your choices of two vegetables and one meat with fragrant plain rice is only at S$3.00. Is filling and satisfying. The cafe is usually very crowded during weekdays' lunch hour. A very popular lunch venue for the office workers who work near there. Their hot and cold beverages are also at very reasonable price too. Do go early to avoid standing around the cafe waiting for seats.
