This stall is located just adjacent to KOI cafe. Since the queue was kind of long, I bought a box of 3 takoyaki to try. I was feeling a bit regret when I saw the staff frying the takoyaki in the pan mold filled with oil. I was taken back by how much oil he was using. The first thing that caught my eye was this stall’s packaging. It’s really shaped like a boat man! The service by the crew whom are from china is quite good. When I was sitting down at chair, the table top was cleared within 5 minutes. The china guy who passed me my tako yaki was also polite and cheerful too, quite a rare sight for a middle aged man. The tako yaki tasted just okay, nothing very special but it sure looks good. continue reading

Japan boat tako yaki is a different kind of tako compared to the ones we normally see. Instead of the soft outside, The octopus ball is lightly fried instead. Hence giving a crispy outer shell with a small layer of fluffy insides. Not too bad. But I prefer the normal fluffy outsides instead continue reading
