Hazelnut Milk Tea
Smile 2013-05-29

Its lunch hour and the wait were around 10-15minutes.

When I just approached the counter, the cashier was asking if we want pearls even before we order.
After which then did she explain that the pearl requires a wait of 15 minutes.

Understand her motive in doing this but I felt it would instead confuse customers. Moreover her attitude isn't very welcoming.

I ordered the hazelnut milk tea.

First time trying the hazelnut flavor and really like it a lot ;D

The taste of milk tea fragrance is strong and nice.

It is not too bland and the hazelnut taste enhanced the flavor. Chose 50% sugar level and the sweetness is just right lol

Would try ordering it with 25% sugar level the next time though ;D

Good!
Smile 2013-03-04

This time round, I ordered the green tea yakult and I am not disappointed by it! I can taste the distinct flavours of green tea and yakult even after mixing it well. I love how you can request for less ice if you feel that the normal level of ice is too much. The standard of their drinks are very consistent with every outlet that I have visited and service is quite fast considering there are quite a lot of customers.

Traditional Milk Tea
Smile 2012-07-19

Brought a cup of the traditional milk tea with pearl.
With the first slip, I am able to taste the freshness of the red tea, the red tea is not overcooked, the amount of creamer added is just nice. With the addition of the creamer, it help to enhance the taste and flavour of the red tea to produce a nice and fragrance milk tea. With the addition of 50% sugar level, the sweetness is just nice, not too bland nor sweet. The pearl was well cooked, has a soft and very chewy texture. Generous amount of the pearl was given and goes very well with the milk tea.

Tea time
Smile 2012-06-04

I walked into Koi cafe to buy a cup of hot pearl tea. I looked the the menu for their milk teas and decided on chocolate milk tea, hot. I had to wait for about 3-4 mins before it was given to me. The chocolate milk tea was good, but even though i asked for 30% sweetness,i found it tooo sweet. I din't enjoy it as much as their other milk teas. I am a Koi cafe fan,but the chocolate milk tea wasn't so impressive, in spite of me being a chocolate lover.

Bubble Milk Tea
Smile 2012-05-30

Bubble Milk Tea $2.40 the chewy bubble and the sweet taste of the pearl. Koi is believed to be the first bubble tea that introduces the various sugar level choices for the customer to choose. The milk tea has a balance taste of milk and tea taste, with the standardize ingredient to make a bubble tea that is a different taste for each individual brand which I am quite impressed with.

Trying something different
Smile 2012-04-20

Whenever I go to KOI, I always order their milk tea with pearl, 50% sugar level. This time, my friend recommended that I try the hazelnut milk tea instead! I decided to try it and I am glad I did. Even with 50% sugar level, it is slightly less sweet than the usual milk tea. I will choose this when I don't feel like drinking something too sweet.

Having heard from my friend how nice the new yakult green tea is, i went to try it one day. Initially i was a bit skeptical as i do not know how the combination is going to taste like, but when i had my first sip, i was sold. It is really unique and once you start drinking, you cannot stop. That is really how addictive it is.

Yalkut Green Tea
Smile 2012-04-06

Brought a cup of the large size yalkut green tea with Ai-yu jelly.
It has a light yalkut taste with a combination of jasmine green tea. Because I ordered this drink with no ice, the aroma of the green tea is not that strong, but the drink was cold enough. As for the sweetness, it was just nice as I choose the 50% sugar level. The ai-yu jelly was well coooked and have a soft jelly texture. Lastly, the waiting time was acceptable and the number calling system was used.

KOI Bubble Tea
Smile 2012-03-25

I love KOI Milktea at 50% sugar level. It's sweet enough even at 50% and I'm really curious how it would taste like if it's at 100% sugar level! The queue is always very long at KOI but luckily the people there are so innovative and with the help of the advance technology, there's someone taking orders using an iPad so while you are still queuing, you can already start placing orders and pay when you reached the counter. KOI is always always super generous with their pearls. It's like 50% pearls and 50% milk tea as compared to others who only give like 30% pearls. So every sip of the milk tea will give you a big mouthful of the chewy pearls!

Koi’s bubble tea is an irresistible for me!
Love their milk tea with pearl at 50% sugar.
Although it is just plain milk tea,
there’s this tea taste that makes it very appealing and kept me going back time after time.
Awesome drinks served here!
Although the queue can be quite long,
but the staff are really efficient and the queue move quite fast

Nothing beats a large cup of green tea with peals from KOI to sweeten your day. It has become a habit to get a large cup of green tea with pearls for only $2.90 whenever i walked past this outlet. I always customised my sugar level at about 75%. The serving of pearls has always been more than generous. A little too much maybe, sometimes when i finished my green tea, i still left quite a lot of pearls unfinished.

my favourite bubble tea store and i love the pearl milk tea. i tried before no sugar added and i think the taste is still not too bad because the pearls itself comes with some sugar syrup but nowadays normally i will order the 25% sugar level.
the pearls are nice too, very chewy and the size is smaller than other stores. the staff are also very generous with the pearls portion that sometimes after i finished the drinks, there are still a layer of pearls left at the bottom

Look At The Queue!
Smile 2011-12-03

I went to another KOI outlet near my campus and looked what I found. A long queue but that is not the main attraction since we all have already known KOI for its famous long queue. The thing is that there is this young lady that brings along something like an ipad (tablet) to take out order which I found it to be the first among all bubble tea shops!!!

It is an innovation!! Brilliant! Bravo! Aside from cutting the time to order, the waiting time for the queue will be cut significantly.

Time for KOI!!!
Smile 2011-09-27

The day was really hot at clementi, and I can resist the temptation of KOI, with its never ending queue. Despite the long queue, I find the store really organized so the waiting is about fifteen minutes. When we drink bubble tea we usually compare the pearls with other bubble tea stalls. The only problem I have with KOI is that it gives to many pearls!!! Nearly half the cup in fact. So by the time I drink finish my drink, I am left bloated with a quarter cup full of pearls! Overall, I find the pearls a bit too sweet and the drink also, though I asked for 50% sweetness, maybe I was go down to a 25% sweetness next time.

KOI
Smile 2011-09-25

Everybody knows that bubbletea has become a trend again.

KOI is one of them, one of the popular drink shop now. Everybody is just talking about it and the queue is just horrendously scary sometimes. Even if it's not peak hour like 9 plus at night, the queue is still frightening.

This is one of the reason why i don't like queuing for koi even if i'd like to drink.

I tried their nai cha with 80 percent sugar. I think it's quite good that they let customers choose the percentage of sugar so for eg, people who are more health conscious can choose a no sugared drink wheares people who like sugared drink can choose something more.

I like the nai cha (milk tea) best, however they offer alot more.

One thing bad is the waiting time is long, i had to wait 25 mins just to get 2 cups of koi.
