Have a simple treat from my friend in this Kungfu paradise outlet and was not really impress with the main course here. I have only requested for seafood horfun as was not really that hungry. When it presented to my table, I was really shock of the plain and unattractive colour on it. The thick rice noodles are smooth and chewy, but not much taste. And there are really minimum ingredients in it which make it so expensive and not worth the price. Moreover the prawns are quite soft and not fresh as well. Restaurant is comfortable and cooling and service is smily and friendly. continue reading

The restaurant has a specials menu, called The KungFu Hits, available from 11am - 5pm, Mon- Fri. All items on this menu are priced at $7.90. To order, diners are give a slip of paper to fill in what they want and the waiter/waitress will collect the slip. The Steamed Custard Lava Bun ($3.90) is one of the few dimsums offered here. The bun had quite a thick skin and required a few bites to get to the bursting lava inside. Some parts are also not very liquid as well. Overall, it was not too bad but not one of the best i've tried. One of the downside is that the restaurant charges for plain water. continue reading

Kungfu paradise offers a few affordable tea-time sets and one of my favourite items over here has got to be their custard paus! It is under the Paradise group and I find that their quality of custard paus are pretty consistent across all of their restaurants! I can't seem to be able to resist ordering the custard paus whenever I dine in at one of their restaurants and I highly recommend you to try! continue reading

From the original Paradise Inn branding, The Paraduse Group has since expanded and now includes LE Restaurant and Tapas Bar, Taste Paradise, Paradise Pavilion, Seafood Paradise, Canton Paradise, Paradise Dynasty, My Nasi and even catering company One Paradise. Kungfu Paradise remains as one of the most unique ones under the umbrella which targets a younger audience with a fusion theme where “east-meets-west”.The menu is pretty much of a mix of everything. Expect to find a menu similar to Hong Kong tea rooms, thrown with a bit of western dishes and then mixed with a few Japanese elements. The Steamed Custard Lava Bun ($3.90) is one of the few dimsums offered here. The bun had quite a thick skin and required a few bites to get to the bursting lava inside. Some parts are also not very liquid as well. The Sausage "Babe" Rice ($12.80) is one of the various baked rice dishes offered here. Kungfu Paradise allows customers to choose which sauce they would like their Baked Rice to come in, with choices of Tomato, Cream or Curry. There was sufficient cheese covering the rice, and it was stringy upon being pulled about. Few chili flakes were spotted on the cheese but they did not carry any level of spiciness. There were two types of sausages used in this dish; a western type of sausage which is the one in white that had a bit of pepper in it and the red one which was Taiwan sausage.Following the not-so-impressive Steamed Custard Lava Bun, we were hoping that the Chocolate Lava Cake ($6.80) will not turn out underwhelming. We were sort of relieved when it came, and with a vanilla ice-cream as well. The ice-cream seemed pretty much supplied, but the lava cake was warmed sufficiently so as to allow the chocolate lava to be liquid enough. The chocolate was also not full of cloying sweetness as well. For more photos and the full review, please visit: http://jiaksimipng.wordpress.com/2013/10/15/kungfu-paradise-jcube/ continue reading

My friend and I went for a short tea break after shopping at Bugis for the entire morning. Looking at the menu, we decided to try out their french toast which looks quite good. FOODFrench ToastIt's quite crispy on the outside, and quite soft on the inside. And with the combination of the sweet-smelling maple syrup and melting butter, it really taste so awesome! PRICEThe price of their food items is rather affordable to all. Not too expensive. They have a few dim sum for people who would like to have afternoon tea! continue reading
