While shopping around Bugis area, I have passed by this stall selling buns and pancakes and was really attracted by the huge pancakes selling here and decided to get one to try.  For only $1.50 each, the vegetable with egg pancake was quite big in portion and the taste was not too bad as well.  The pancake is moist and thick, which is quite filling after having it.  The chopped ku chye was really generous inside and is very fragrant and with that slight crunchiness in it.  The whole pancake is not too oily, which is quite good and healthy since only lots of vegetables can be found in it.  Service was so so only and not really that friendly. Stall is simple and clean, but here is definitely warm and squeezy. continue reading

Black pepper roti prata that costs $1.80! which is cheap in value but best in quality!Their food is order then they start to fry the prata with butter that is kept in the fridge properly and make the hotdog that is already cooked warm and put there together. Then she will squeeze mayo and chilli if you want! It is really tasty when together because the prata is crispy and tasty ! with the juicy hotdog! continue reading

Lau Pa Sat Toasted Bread for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my lovely parents! There was so many stalls and we decided to have toasts, a lighter choice for breakfast. Their toast is not really super toasted such that it becames hard and cripsy. But they are lightly toasted to give it the fragrance of being toasted and are generously spreaded withkaya and butter. YUms! Absolutely love these kind of not so overdone toasts! continue reading

I was passing by bugis street this afternoon and was hungry so i decided to try the food from this stall. I've had several friends recommending me the bread from this stall but i gave in to the strong pleasant sausage smell and ordered for a roti prata with sausage and egg.The roti prata is wrapped around with egg and then used to wrap around the sausage. I ordered for the pepper sausage which tastes just like the regular sausage just that it has a nice pepper smell. The roti prata is very crispy and it makes a perfect wrap along with the egg. I really like the combination of roti prata with the sausage but it is a pretty oily snack. Do give it a try! It costs $2.30. continue reading

In the middle of fashion...you will be able to spot Lau Pa Sat Toasted Bread.Every time when I am around Bugis Street I have to take away their Toasted Bread without fail. Although many people might not notice their stall, their stall is quite popular. You will be able to spot queue forming every now and then. But due to their efficiency of the staffs, they clear the queue pretty fast. The bread here is kind of special, not too overly toasted and very soft! At the same time it is thick with generous spread. Their bread is bake in perfection, you won't spot any hole whereby the Kaya or etc will leak out. Can't remember how much it is exactly, it is between $3.20 - $3.50 for a loaf of bread. The spread is rich in flavours and the butter they used is special. The butter they used comes in a block, they will slice it in perfect portion to fit in the bread. Despite their efficiency, each bread is perfectly slice and pack. They just master it pretty well at Lau Pa Sat Toasted Bread! continue reading
