Signature Dishes
Initially we wanted to eat at the famous fish soup at Tanjong Pagar exchange, however since the queue was too long.. so we decided to change to the next restaurant, that is Lerk Thai.We often pass by this restaurant however we never tried before.So I ordered the set lunch, the green curry chicken rice at $6.90 and together with the set lunch, can topup $1.50 for soft drinks or $2.50 for their special drinks (usual $4). So I ordered their special ice thai tea.The waiting time was quite long.. around 20 mins.The ice thai tea was normal..I asked them not to make my green curry so spicy, as I'm not a fan of spicy food.The green curry was quite nice, a little bit spicy, not too much, just right.The steamed rice was soft, just nice to eat with my green curry and sunny side.My friend ordered their beef set and he also mentioned that the beef was quite nice, quite soft.Overall experience is good, just that the waiting time is a bit too long.

Despite the fact that I had ordered from the lunch promotion menu, I noted that it is not as value for money afterall as Lerk Thai doesn't serve water (which means I have to order drinks) and charges for the crackers which is served to all diners before they order any food (even though diners have not ordered the crackers).Nevertheless, I find that the food is quite tasty. In fact, I am quite pleased with the black pepper beef that I have ordered and will recommend one to try it.
