Signature Dishes
Ordered the Fish Congee for $3.50 and it comes with the you tiao that they fry in house. Though the way they prepare the congee may not look very appetizing, it's an experience to see the congee bubble in front of you. The congee tastes really good, similar to what you can get in Hong Kong-- the milky soft style and it's served hot.Don't expect excellent service as the lady was flustered with so many orders at one time, however, the congee is good enough that my sister would crave for it. If you want to alter your order ie. no fried onions, no you tiao, or no pepper; be sure to stand there and inspect as they might forget if you walk away.

The FoodI ordered their signature, Mixed Pork Porridge. The porridge is smooth and very delicious and the ingredients like minced pork ball, sliced pork, slices of pig stomach and deep fried intestines are very fresh and garnished with sliced ginger and fried spring onions which enhance the overall flavour. The porridge also served with a strip of You Tiao and is quite crispy.What I like most is their deep fried intestines which are fried till crispy and fragrant hence adding more flavour to the dish. The PriceReasonably priced at $3 with wide variety of ingredientsOverallI will definitely come back again and highly recommended to try this!

This stall at ABC food centre has been one of my top choice for porridge because of the good taste, good quantity and cheap price.However, this today's trip to this stall left me a little disappointed because they raised prices for their porridge from $0.30 to $0.50 per bowl, the quantity has decreased, and the taste has downgraded. This is still one of the better stalls out there, but no longer as good as before.The raw fish still taste as good, but has seen a reduction in quantity as well.I will still recommend this stall and come back to eat, but not as much.

There are numerous gem hidden in ABC market and I guess the porridge stall has to be one of them. Generous serving of canto styled porridge which was absolutely delicious!The porridge texture was thick, and smoothed from the hours of painstaking slow cook and consistent string. (i believe the rice used plays a part too).Ingredient are rich in flavor and the best part, not much MSG was tasted!!Selection wise, there are a wide variety of dishes offered, from the most basic fish slices and shredded chicken to the less common salmon. Get ready to be spoilt for choices here.Each bowl of porridge is served with a stick of crispy you-tiao that goes delightfully well with the porridge.Must try!
