Mango roll
Just OK 2013-04-27

I ordered the mango roll to try. I tried the same thing in Hong Kong before. The mango filling got nice sweetness with cream wrapped together. It is a small piece for $2.50, a bit too expensive. I did not particularly like it and likely not to order again. It did not taste as nice as the one i had before. I will try the durian one next time. I will be keen to try their other desserts too.

Peanut Snow
Just OK 2013-03-15
First about the place, you find your own seats then proceed to place your order after filling up the order chit, small chairs and stools typical of a dessert stall, not meant for comfort, to encourage quick turn over. Costing $5.90, the peanut snow ice comes with peanut flavored ice shavings and also 3 rice dumpling. Peanut crumbs are then sprinkled over the mountain of ice. The tang yuan is without feeling type and taste sweet. The shaved ice is really fine but i did not find the peanut flavor strong enough for the snow ice. I think their Durian version is better with stronger taste both in the puree and the ice itself. Else just stick with the safe choice trinity mango which cost $5.40

Mango Shaved Ice.
Just OK 2013-03-04

   Mango Shaved Ice.

I tried their desserts when i was in Hong Kong and have been rather impressed with their different types of desserts. I was excited when gotten news of their opening in Singapore. I came with anticipation and expecting the standard to be better or as good. I tried the mango shaved ice served with grass jelly cubes, mango bits and sago pearls. The mango tasted a little sour to my liking but the grass jelly cubes were rather enjoyable. The taste of the mango shaved ice was just nice with the right level of sweetness though it would be nicer if it tasted a bit more milky.

It was a pleasant experience though it did not meet my expectations.

Dessert Time!
Just OK 2012-12-29
Desserts' a must after a fulfilling dinner! However, Lucky Desserts disappointed us! Desserts are supposed to be sweet but they do not serve really sweet desserts. We ordered Sesame Paste with Beancurd and Purple Rice desserts.

I did not finish mine as it wasn't sweet enough. Perhaps they can add 10% more sugar to their desserts. Service wise was prompt
and staff were friendly.

Triple Ds - Durian Dessert Delight!
Smile 2012-08-21
My first time at Vivocity in a couple of months and I walked by this new cafe called Lucky Dessert. There was nothing particularly eye-catching in terms of cafe layout/design, but what it lacked in visual appeal, it more than made up with the irresistible aroma of durians!

There were other items on the menu, but I fixated on the variety of durian snacks ranging from wraps, glutinous rice rolls, sago, fried crisps etc. My order for the day was the durian glutinous rice rolls - 4 mini rolls with a chewy outer layer of glutinous rice rolled in grated coconut with a heavenly filling of durian. NICE!

Durian .. ~~~
Smile 2012-06-26
This is the first time i been here. I heard alot about it from my friend who went to HK just last mth and tried their Kowloon store.

When i first entered the shop, i didnt think that they would serve Durian desserts at i thought that HK ppl are not so into durian ... and also there is NO durian smell when we walk in ...

We ordered 2 durian wrap (their must have) and two mango wrap... 1 normal Mango Pomelo dessert and 1 durian pomelo dessert.

When we received our order, the durian wrap and mango wrap looks the same on the outside lol however, when we cut into the wrap .. the wonderfull smell of durian flow out .. that is already a SUPER attraction to us .. durian lovers ... When we put the durian wrap into the mouth, you can feel the durian fullness. Not like other dessert store that gives min. durian and only can taste abit, this one is FULL of durian and its so goooooooooooooooooooood.

The mango pomelo, they used Mango juice to make the ice for the dessert, hence every mouth of the dessert is filled with pure mango goodness. The durian version is something very different and we actually didnt managed to enjoy it as we already had the durian wrap b4 hand. But it is also filled with durian goodness.

Never know durian ice is so good ... ..

Pls do try this dessert store if you are around Vivo. ....
