I haven't been to Mad Jack in awhile. My last experience with their cakes were dry and I decided to give their main courses a try. They serve Halal western food that is easy on the wallet and with a wide variety, fish, chicken, beef, spaghetti, cakes and healthy fruit juices.1. Psycho Chicken & Chip $9.90+The chicken cutlet was alot bigger than expected! It was crispy all over and juicy and tender chicken meat on the inside. The chips were the fat chips kind, a big soggy. There was a side salad with a cube of green apple and red apple and some canned fruit. All in all, a decent main course, that proved to be better than expected2. Berry Chocolate Indulgence $6.40+ The cake was surprisingly good! It was so much better than the chocolate banana cake. The chocolate sponge cake interspersed with a chocolate ganache which was thick and almost like a giant chocolate bar in between and with homecooked berry compte on the top. A delightful combination.I'm glad I gave them another try! Service was quick and simple. Write down your order, bring it to the cashier, make payment and the food is served to you within 10-15 minutes. The cashier wasn't familiar with the Yelp check in offer and had to call up the management whom also had no idea about the check in, but she still honoured it and kudos to her and her friendly staff crew! continue reading

While I was shopping at Nex, I was craving for western food but the restaurants there mostly sells local or Japanese. When I walked pass the Mad Jack with striking signboard, I decided to go in for a try.I order the Grilled Terderloin in Brown Sauce at $22.90. The grilled terderloin came quite fast to the table and I could smell the grilled meat aroma. The serving portion of the meat was smaller than I expected. The terderloin meat was tender and juicy and easily cut, but the taste of the meat was somewhat bland. I guessed I had to dip the meat into the brown sauce to add flavour. The dipping brown sauce tasted similar to thicken KFC mashed potato sauce and I liked it. Overall, I find that the Grilled Terderloin in Brown Sauce was average in taste. At this price, I would expect the meat to have a better flavour and quality. continue reading

Fresh and natural ingredients for optimal flavour. Freshly cooked a la minute like a home kitchen. The cook used all-natural cooking with no MSG, artificial flavouring and preservatives.Good western food due to rich chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream made the complete set of meal during dinner time.If you are looking for eating nice food in Singapore, Mad Jack is the choice when you crave for delicious Western food like Chicken Wings and other Western Cuisine, which they opened its first outlet in 2005 at Bukit Timah. continue reading
