The FoodI ordered Bacon Roll ($4), Hotate Scallop ($8.80) and Tebasaki Chicken Wing ($4)The Bacon Roll is crispy and not oily. The Scallops were also big and juicy paired with the sweet sauce. Lastly for the chicken Wing is nicely grilled and meat is juicy and well marinatedThe ServiceService is good as the waitreses are attentive to my request and top up ice-water when low.The AmbienceThe scenic backdrop and laid back setting of the restaurant make me feel at home, enjoying the nice scenery while waiting for our food. The PriceReasonably priced at $30 for the final billOverallI will definitely come back again to try other dishes and highly recommended to try for all Yakitori lover!!

Moonstone is located at The Jewel Box and sits facing Habourfront direction with a wonderful view. It's real breezy which is a great relief from Singapore's searing weather. This place serves Japanese yakitori and have a wide selection of beers and sake! A really nice place to come and relax when you want to get away from the bustling city. I had one of their signature sake, served warm as recommended by the staff. It was delicious! The first sip had that sharp bite and burns slightly but from the 2nd sip onwards, it didn't have any bite at all! It went down smooth and left a slightly sweet/bitter after taste. This is good sake. Tip: If you stop too long between your next sip, prepare to have that sharpness again. Ordered the grilled squid and I'm not sure what sauce it was served on but it's fresh, salty and really goes well with the sake. And of course the Yakitori!! Grilled meat on sticks, all seasoned well. We had the chicken, pork and salmon with mentaiko cheese. The last one was the BEST! I could eat a few sticks of it! I tried their Ox tongue as well. This is not for the faint hearted as it was chewy and slightly gamey. Wash it all down with a cold beer.
